A vacancy for a Maintenance & Flight Operations Test Leader
(m/f) has arisen within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Toulouse. You will join the Maintenance/Integrated Modular Avionics/Flight Operations Test & integration Group.
Tasks & accountabilities
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Maintenance & Flight Operations testing
• Managing test campaigns around Maintenance & Flight operations function, coordination with other test entities around flight operations Tools.
• Developing test automation in this context.
• Coordinating directly subcontracted activities.
- Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) products (FlySmart+ ; Mission+ )
• Preparing tests campaign in collaboration with design offices.
• Driving test campaigns on EFB applications and aircraft integration at system and cockpit level.
• Ensuring & maintaining tests means (Laptops, Tablets, iPad, A/C benches).
This activity is on the A350 program, and you will report functionally to the A350 Maintenance/Flight Operations, and EFB Work Package Leaders, and operationally to the head of the group.
You will be in interface with numerous stakeholders, Programs, Flight tests, Design offices, Airbus IT support, Customer Services, Navblue and Airlines.
This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.
We are looking for a pro-active engineer, ideally with a degree in Aeronautics or IT, able to connect people across functions and result-oriented, with a continuous challenging and lean approach.
You are open-minded, autonomous, technically curious and hands-on, with good communication and synthesis skills, this job will suit you.
In terms of technical skills, the following is a plus:
• Maintenance Systems
• Flight Operations knowledge
• Avionics systems knowledge
• IT knowledge
An advanced level of English and an intermediate level of French are mandatory.
