What You'll Do

Your key accountabilities include but are not limited to:

- Establish long-term strategies that support Corporate Affairs strategy and Global Field Organization objectives for Europe North, South and UKI
- Interlock with the Cisco Leadership Team in Europe North, South and UKI and the GMs in key countries/regions to strategically align CSR initiatives. Identify, prioritize, and implement CSR opportunities to drive social & business impact
- Establish and maintain strategic relationships and partnerships with external stakeholders (especially Public Sector) to achieve both social and business impact of Corporate Affairs initiatives and programs for Europe North, South and UKI
- Drive Networking Academy sustainable growth, and adoption of new business and technology architectures and product offerings
- Cooperate with Corporate Affairs Product Management, Operations, Marketing, Platform and other organizations to drive growth for the NetAcad Program in the region
- Incubate Cisco solutions, including reference-able business and technology architectures
- Drive local Cisco CSR and brand awareness
- Represent and advocate the region in Cisco EMEAR & APJC and Global organizations
- Develop your team to deliver on the goals for Corporate Affairs
Who You'll Work With

You will lead the Corporate Affairs and CSR initiatives and programs in Europe North, South and UKI reporting to the Director Corporate Affairs EMEAR & APJC.

You will manage and develop the regional Networking Academy program (~1,800 academies with 180,000 students in 24 countries). 

You will lead a team of CSR Consultants in Europe North, South and UK and will cooperate with all Corporate Affairs and Cisco Sales organizations. 

Who You Are

- You have direct experience leading a geographically dispersed team; and 5+ years experience in sales, business development, and/or partner development roles
- You bring strong leadership and communication skills to work with senior managers and executives across various regions and organizations
- You have developed a deep understanding of the Public Sector market in Europe; and are able to establish relationships at senior levels within Public Sector
- Excellent business case development skills and business judgment; ability to perform strategic market analysis of the education sector
- Strong working knowledge of technology trends and innovations in the education market; a plus if in sectors with high relevance to Networking, Cybersecurity
- Proven understanding of the academic and pedagogical process; and personal contacts within educational institutions
- You are able to build the link between technology and social & business impact, and clearly understand business processes and operations
- You know how to handle and orchestrate complex cross-functional (internal and external teams) projects/programs with a focus on results
- You have excellent French and English language skills (fluency in other western European languages is a plus)
- Education: BA/BS required. MBA or MS required unless outweighed by industry experience
