Description of the job
The Airbus Chief Technology Office (CTO) is looking for a Software Engineer m/f to join an exciting new project. This position will be based in Toulouse.

The Airbus Exponential Organization (ExO) core principles are: speed, rapid adaptation to changes, employee empowerment, and absence of rigid hierarchy.

You will work as part of a close-knit team to integrate software into an experimental aircraft systems architecture.

The position is offered within Airbus ExO conditions and salary policy.

Tasks & accountabilities
- Develop and integrate a software system for an experimental flight test installation
- Responsible for intercommunication protocols between sensors and test computers
- Coding toolchain for on-board computers
- Support for low level communication libraries in Simulink
- Representative to internal simulation software and machine learning teams

• Linux environment usage & administration
• Real-time & embedded software
• C / C++ proficiency
• Inter-process communication (e.g. ROS)
• Web design (HTML4 + PHP)
• Matlab / Simulink
• Aeronautical protocols (A429, AFDX) would be a plus
• Curious and forward thinking
