JOB DESCRIPTION

Ubisoft Annecy is looking for you Technical Level Designer (M/F) !
Come to join a team in charge of developing AAA games and be a part of the next Ubisoft blockbuster. 
Attached to the Lead Level Designer, you will be referent on the technical constraints related to the project, and responsible for their application. You will work within the World team in close collaboration with the Level Designers and other developers that the project needs.
In this context, your main missions are:
Test the tools and methods before deployment and make sure that they work well throughout the production
Anticipate and optimize technical solutions adapted to the constraints of the game engine and tools to support the design
Supervise the integration of gameplay elements in the game
Provide consistent technical support for tools and game engine to all members of the level design team
Review the work of the Level Design team and ensure that it complies with technical requirements
Assist the Lead Level Designer on transversal missions and be a driving force within the Level Design team
Make the link between the programming team and the design teams
QUALIFICATIONS

Higher Education in Design, you have 5-10 years minimum experience as a Level / Mission Designer in AAA video games. The knowledge of multiplayer games onlines oriented hardcore player is a plus.
Advanced technical knowledge about editors and tools / scripting languages: knowledge of one or more game engines
Ability to adapt to new technologies or new tools
Good communication skills to advise and guide a team towards the best technical solutions
Creative, analytical, autonomous and rigorous
Your English level allows you to interact with your non-French speaking peers (written and oral)
You are passionate about creating video games and you have a good video game culture.
A knowledge of programming languages and methods is a plus
