Sir Kay! As a Scottish Deerhound. Sir Kay is remarked to have been very tall. I had considered a Leonburger, but I wanted something a bit more lithe. I think Leonburger may come up for one of the other knights though, rest assured. Kristen Maslanka

Rough layout sketch with Lancelot and Arthur palling around after a real chivalrous, totally heroic and definitely not pointless slaughter of a dragon. Good ol' days right? lol (( it's totally Apple Juice in those tankards kids. )) Kristen Maslanka

You have time warped Scooby Doo back to 6th Century Britain! Actually this is really cool. Are you also writing the story or just doing the illustrations for the book?

Sketching out some Lancelot ideas! Thinking of making him a golden retriever to symbolize the 'golden boy' attitude. I had also considered a dalmatian, and a german shepherd, and I'll work on those concepts next just to see if they jive with my idea of Lancelot a bit better. Kristen Maslanka

Thinking of making Arthur a Cane Corso. I wanted a dog that looked regal, but still looked like he could have a good time. I've been playing with a few sizes for his eyes, etc, but I like the idea of having small eyes to symbolize what he DOESN'T see in Camelot- IE the relationship between Guinevere and Lancelot. Working on a new story. Well...I mean it's Camelot with dogs, and Mordred makes friends with Lancelot during his trial. Anyhow, playing with the idea of Merlin being a Pekinese. Kristen Maslanka

#1 @Dean Owen. Oooh! Those are fantastic Ideas. But I'm thinking of making the lady of the lake an afghan hound (( simply because she'll look quite funny wet)) and I was edging towards a Siberian husky for Guinevere, but a Saluki is a fantastic idea too!
