    Petula Clark's "Downtown" was my teenage angst reliever. I can remember singing it a lot while doing chores, babysitting younger siblings, or just during episodes of teenage heartbreak. Loved your memory lane this morning Dominique! Other memories may come and go but music memories last forever! This one hit wonder by LuLu, another British artist; from one of my favorite old movies (which I found on DVD recently) "To Sir With Love";

The monumental Genesis classic "Mama" . Clocking in at over 7 minutes the live version witnessed Phil Collins in the finest vocal form of his career. In my view Genesis' best hour! Later dropped from the live shows due to excessive strain on Phils voice.Bet not all my bee music friends knew Phil can belt it out like this...his vocal range is unbelievable.

Simplicity and complexity are two sides of a coin and one simply needs to find a balance between the two. Like we do with life and death. With success and failures. Finding a balance between the two calls for understanding and reasoning and self-discovery and new creative paths.
    Like you say
    "Many paths present itself.
Every path is infinite in possibilities.
The question is are we ready to walk the path?
And how we evolve, walking the path of choice?"
A beautiful enriching buzz. Thank you @Savvy Raj

#15 First of all I appreciate your gift of assimilating thoughts and often interjecting the much needed practicality of purpose in them @CityVP 🐝 Manjit This is a gift you have honed so well in practice.I value these words, 'Thinking is the gift. Things are merely gifts'.Indeed and often we place our values on mere transactions than the power of transformations. I value your comment deeply not only because you sensed along 'the two moments' in these verses but also for the power of transformation in the thoughts in the verses presented simply in the strength of the interconnects. Thank you for your heartfelt reflections

I like the way you injected the Power of Three into your poem, which created two moments that added power to your thoughts.

The meaning we choose to perceive,
The connect we choose to establish,
The intention we choose to deduce

    The dance of polarity,
    The duality of nature,
    The death and the birth

In a society that is constantly finding new ways of selling us things we don't need, the value of personal poetry is that it gives us something society badly needs, which is ways of thinking. Ths is the difference between a gift and merely a gift. We celebrate the interruptions more than we treasure the gifts. Thinking is the gift. Things are merely gifts.

For this thinking gift I thank you and so long as beBee continues to develops as a transformational gift rather than as a transactional gift, then the future for us here is a great space for those who prefer transformation rather than just transaction.

Thank you for your generous words to this post .
While all creative work is unique in approach and we can respect the ingenuity of the individual .... if only we dig deeper we see how they are assembled in the strength of interconnects in the interdependence.

@Savvy Raj The more I read this, the more I just love the message.

    "Simplicity dwells in the complexity
And complexity is just tangled simplicity
    In an untangled arrangement.
The very arrangement is a fodder for imagination
    Simple resides in the complexities.
Complex is just simplicity turned upside down.
    A curiousity in exploration
Every path is infinite in possibilities."

    Keep making a difference.
