I always suspected science was going on outside the US. It is so nice to have direct access to some of it now.

Lots of info to 'digest' in the article itself.

I'm glad that there are some researchers who do some useful research instead of finding ways to keep people on FB a few minutes longer. However, I think it takes a bit more than just scientific knowledge and know-how to work out a cure for this terrible disease that manifests as tumors. Hopefully, there will one day be some entrepreneurial initiative to accompany the scientific one and make things happen.

Gran artรญculo!

When my father was diagnosed with cancer in December he was gone in 8 months, even after chemotherapy. They removed half his cancerous stomach and for a good month or two my old man could walk and drive and carried on with his almost normal life. After the surgery chemotherapy was recommended. He got weaker by the day and in his last days vomited blood. So was chemotherapy effective? My hunch after he'd gone was that chemotherapy most likely killed him. Now how can we educate people that chemotherapy may not be the best way forward? People listen to experts and in their moment of desperate need they listen to whoever comes up with an "attractive" solution. I'm keen to know other bees' thoughts on this important topic. Thanks Daniel for this buzz.
