When my father was diagnosed with cancer in December he was gone in 8 months, even after chemotherapy. They removed half his cancerous stomach and for a good month or two my old man could walk and drive and carried on with his almost normal life. After the surgery chemotherapy was recommended. He got weaker by the day and in his last days vomited blood. So was chemotherapy effective? My hunch after he'd gone was that chemotherapy most likely killed him. Now how can we educate people that chemotherapy may not be the best way forward? People listen to experts and in their moment of desperate need they listen to whoever comes up with an "attractive" solution. I'm keen to know other bees' thoughts on this important topic. Thanks Daniel for this buzz.
