Patterns Are the Mirrors of Future
Patterns Are the Mirrors of FutureThose who think too much of the past have no time to think of the future. What is gone is gone. Forget about the past and enjoy the present. Are the above statements correct? Or, do we need to challenge them? If we think within patterns...

@Ali Anani I must confess I did not read the comments.

So it is possible I am repeating someone now. And all in all, that would not be a bad case, at least I think.

The past made me to what I am today. Suppose that is really true. Today I am the culmination of my past. If that was really true, I would be able to forget all about the past. The past not being important to my present or my future. The past formed me to what I am now. And what I am now will determine my future.

In another comment of you you talked about a niche.

I am taking a shortcut now, my dear friend, I am sorry.

Freedom seems to be one of the few things one can not teach. Come to think of it, it feels natural. Of course, we can not teach freedom.

Even Hitler was, in his mind, free. The commercial guys in this society believe they are free, politicians think they are free and can share their freedom with us.
The wealthy think they found freedom.

Freedom is a subjective thought. And when you come to think of it, so is love, or peace. I could be a person loving to mutilate another and find peace hearing their last breath.

I know all realities are real. I know maybe two, all or not fictional figures, all or not abused by mankind, emerged at some point. Jesus and Buddha. Profit overcome those thoughts.

I can only live in this virtual society because 'giving up' is not in my dictionary. I admire your will @Ali Anani to keep on teaching. You are true. I have to review myself.

According to forensic psychologist Karen Franklin, PhD, the past can be a hint when it comes to future actions. However only in cases when actions are frequently repeated. In short, says Franklin, psychologists have proven high frequency behaviors are more predictive (of future actions) than infrequent behaviors”. My thoughts are – rid yourself of negative behaviors and systematically replace them with good and you can help build a better future. As always, thank you Ali Anani for a thought-provoking post.

#16 I believe we are on the same page and thank you for the link @Sara Jacobovici. The "Duality", to borrow your word, i have always thought was not proffesional me and personal me, but rather my values and the rest of the world.

In my early engagements in business i started down the typical road of total saturation and my proffesional me became, well me. My wife, a saint, had a private therapy conference and let me know very quickly she had not married the professional me. Then the work life balance thing came alive. So i read, studied and practiced all the listicles. This was exhausting. I realized that i was being asked to balance two sets of values. I began a journey of understanding values and working through them. I realized that my values worked in all aspects of life.

Their was really no need for balance but rather a large need for executing around my values no matter where i found myself. The main value that i have had to adopt and practice is service. I serve differently based on the environment i find myself. I think that duality is caused when we serve to many masters. WIthin service i need not be master or compete for the title.

In answer to the questions at the start and the end of your post. It would be wrong to totally forget the past. Why?, because of all the memories both good and bad we would have to discard, both of which play a part in the here and now as well as the future.
A thought on mirrors they only show you yourself, and what's behind you, never what's behind it, unless it's Alice's looking glass.
Finally without the past it would be impossible to create the patterns for the future you so eloquently describe.

#16 Dear @Sara Jacobovici- I commented and shared your line on three hives because your article is outstanding. I quote from it this superb extract "In reality, however, the duality and its polarity, prevent us from understanding who we are and how to engage with others and the world around us. Each persona of the duality, the personal me and the professional me, are fragments of a whole. In this way, we can only function in part". I love your wisdom.

#12 I share your opinion 100% @Harvey Lloyd (including what you say about Zoloft). In fact one of the things that draws me to learn from @Ali Anani is that I come into the learning from the same perspective. I rarely share a link to a post of mine in a comment but I thought I would invite you to read this blog and see where "I'm coming from". http://www.arts-psychotherapy.com/duality-business-pleasure-not-work/ I have to reread my reply to see how I could have given you a different impression than the one I was trying to convey.

Awfully interesting article indeed sir Dr. Ali Anani, Phd. our fingers are the manifestation about the history of our long struggle in the past, enable us to adapt with the environment adverse to us, yet we made it congenial out of our labor and endeavors and wit. accordingly the fingers of the past have no resemblance with present. it has evolved with a new qualitative value enabling us to progress with more prolific impetus. however, stunning post indeed sir! enjoyed read. thank you very much for sharing such lovely post.

#12 For now I shall say @Harvey Lloyd that I concur with your idea " Zoloft exists because we have become disruptive to the natural order of things. (My Opinion.)". E call this a reductionist approach when the whole behaves differently for the individuals. We need to go back to the wholeness of what we do.
    Harvey Lloyd
    11/10/2016 #12 Harvey Lloyd
#3 Your comment caused me to consider the need for emotional intelligence. Would the need exist if we were more natural in our growth? @Sara Jacobovici part of wandering off the reservation of natural progress is not just the energy required, but also the emotional toll on our psyche. Emotional intelligence may be a growing concern because we left the reservation? The symbiotic nature of our progress is typically picked apart and discussed in small pieces. @Ali Anani is asking us to raise up from this drawn and quartered discussion and see the whole relationship of our progress. Unfortunately many careers are based on the fragmented view. Zoloft exists because we have become disruptive to the natural order of things. (My Opinion.)

Dear,Javier beBee,You thrived for something that worth your strive-congratulations.All big things have little names and you learned how to use the name beBee in a big way .When the name covers the internal processes and the external impact,it will be much easier to design your positioning platform because the name say what you mean.Any successful innovation process starts with a genuine idea, like flashes of a spark, and passes the concept test through evaluation and development stages to realization.Because beBee innovation will disrupt the media and break the daily routine of the readers and writers,it must be carefully tracked to avoid innovation barriers and to ensure that it will lead to commercial success ,at least, in the first six months of its launch. For beBee to succeed in the long-term,you must create a position in the prospects mind that not only consider your strength and the value of beBee ,but also your competitor weakness and what prevent people from using their services. The new platform should depend more on informal ways that may give you more control when associating with your prospects. My view is; you can't depend on chance or referrals or word of mouth because they often dry and are a rather high risk passive marketing, and those who depend on them are often gamblers, not real marketers.Find the right bees whose loyalty can be developed and set up your positioning platform accordingly.

by the way, @Javier beBee here is "the power of the bees" to share with your marketing team.

"Bees are undoubtedly the most abundant pollinators of flowering plants in our environment. The service that bees and other pollinators provide allows nearly 70 percent of all flowering plants to reproduce; the fruits and seeds from insect pollinated plants account for over 30 percent of the foods and beverages that we consume. Beyond agriculture, pollinators are keystone species in most terrestrial ecosystems. Fruits and seeds derived from insect pollination are a major part of the diet of approximately 25 percent of all birds, and of mammals ranging from red-backed voles to grizzly bears."

@Lucy Norton, you just reminded me that my bedroom is in dire need of a makeover. Marriott hotels are using blue in their rooms now and I do find it relaxing. We bought a memory foam/latex mattress about 5 years ago. I hate it. I was told the latex would have a cooling effect because of the design. It holds in heat terribly and my mattress is firmer than I anticipated. Maybe over the next year we can begin to work on our bedroom. I even need to replace the blinds and curtains.

Now here is an idea that seems to address functionality but it doesn't. Not so much because it was triggered by an aesthetic problem, but because the solution is highly impractical: the proximity and lower position of the drying rack will make you accidentally knock things over with your left arm/elbow and/or splash your already dry dishes if you need to rinse something else in the meanwhile.
