Comments07/08/2016 #38 Gerald Hecht@Margaret Aranda, MD, PhD I still don't have a Twitter account--nothing automated; I catch stuff when I catch it; I probably miss most of the context which would have to make me appear to be "erratic" and/or "eccentric"; which of course is funny because it's what a fractured picture of anything looks like --the truth, of course, is that about as unpredictable as a Holiday Inn. Speaking of which...If you look at my last Producer thingie on "the Perispinal route of administration for CNS therapeutics" (a non-invasive method of getting certain Neurodegenerative reversing agents into the CNS) you will see that Bob Spengler, Tracey Ignatowski, Lawrence Bodner, Ed Tobinick and myself managed (after 10 hours to shut off the autobot enemies of our work)... and within 24 hours, the "Health Desk" at the NY. Times will have listened to to the science --the article will be repaired, and the comments will be based on our scientific facts, rather than idiot feeds on auto-stroke, and since this may very well prove to be a CURE for TBI Sequelae, Alzheimer's and other Dementias, we have one more fluorescence/behavioral study to write up...this could be a (well I'm not gonna jinx it)...score one for the starving scientists over "the machine"...at the NY Times...call it grit/endurance/stupidity/sickness over what prolonged Neuroinflammatory responses are doing to people we know and love/ or whatever...you would have loved "my hyperbole" 💥 #3606/08/2016 #36 Margaret Aranda, MD, PhD#34 Oh my Gerald! You always brighten up my day ~ doing things 'your way' is super fine, my friend! I'm guilty of trying to stir and spur us beeZ along....writing, promoting one another's books, etc. And it can be time-consuming and best left for professionals, really. I mean, I'd rather be writing my next book! Or jivin' in the Hive with you and taking a fresh look at the pink elephant in the room! I'm just frustrated that the 'movement' with authors isn't as enthusiastic as I'd like...so I landed here and saw your note. And it really cheered me up inside. So, thanks, buddy! Here's to you!22/07/2016 #33 Robert BacalPersonally, I don't quite see the point, particularly when we talk so much about user experience, and if the tweet itself requires a click to get to what it is linked to. It adds an extra step, and I hope we don't get inundated with tweets full of hashtags, and nothing else. Tweeting FROM Bebee to Twitter makes huge sense, though.18/07/2016 #29 Paul "Pablo" Croubalian#17 #24 I'm currently in beta on a lighter version of the beast Twitter System I use for my account and that of several clients. I also took a lesson from Javier's playbook. I'm listening to the test users. That web app is taking a life of it's own. I automate my posts by scheduling Twitter promo tweets. IFTTT scripts then automatically post updates to LinkedIn, Facebook and Facebook Pages, as well as Pinterest. I will also use RSS linking in a new way so that a beBee or LinkedIn post automatically populates the Scheduler. Today, is our first live testing day. I'll start on multiple account management and RSS links once everything is running smoothly.18/07/2016 #24 Graham CorsarThanks!
Has anyone found a more automated way to do this? is any one aware of any widgets or extensions make cross-posting happen without having to copy the link from one platform to the other - without having to go so far as use yet another tool to manage social networks (ie TweetDeck etc.)26/06/2016 #19 Paul "Pablo" Croubalian#17 #15 @Lisa Gallagher : I described how to use it in https://www.bebee.com/producer/@paul-croubalian/what-is-the-optimum-blog-post-length-how-to-know-sharp-2-of-2 . Comments06/08/2016 #14 Anees Zaidi@Salma Rodriguez your first name is SALMA. In Arabic it means 'peaceful'. Only a peaceful mind can produce such a creative work. "True freedom, with no strings, returns our cheer" You are so right freedom to be cheerful should be devoid of any strings whatsoever. I concur with brother @Ali Anani you are a born poet dear Salma. Thanks @Margaret Aranda, MD, PhD for bringing this beautiful composition to my notice.06/08/2016 #11 Margaret Aranda, MD, PhD#10 OH, my friend, I shall be just as you! This bee thrives on mentioning the misunderstood, good, invisibly ill, 'unskilled,' fractal, practical, poverty-stricken and that which glistens. For I am a spirit, a mother, scientist, philosopher, doctor, author, inventor, crocheter, pianist, cosmetologist, people-connector, healer, artist, fartist, gardener, landscaper, manual laborer, brain-un-enslaver! All gift of God, and YES! ✅ you need to use all! Personally, I 'use it all' here on beBee, connecting to different Hives with varying tunes to jive with my ears and my tears. So write! Expository writing, poetry, fractal...write it all! Then, you shall beee it all!🎵 @debasish majumder, @Anees Zaidi, @Mohammed A. As medical scientist, you may have heard about the recent hypothesis that there is no left/right side of the brain! There is a corpus callosum, connecting both hemispheres of the cerebral cortex, but there may just be one cortex! I once applied to a job as data scientist, trying to help understand the cortical functions of the brain, looking for canonical microcircuits and what that has to say to the PI and students working at the lab. I only turned down the offer because I was unable to be both at Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience and IBM Poughkeepsie. I'm sort of an overachiever. I wish to be in two places at once, maybe three, but cannot do it! I want to be the artist, the mathematician, the poet, the engineer, the architect, and all of these things! I simply do not have enough to do. Should I write more poetry? Contemplate the meaning of life? Both? Finish a philosophical work. All three?25/07/2016 #9 Margaret Aranda, MD, PhD#8 The scientist in me has published manuscripts and medical expository writing galore, and it is good to free the mind of that which is naturally blind. I'm reading Shakespear's Sonnets, at the behest of @Selim Yeniçeri's suggestion (poet, musician, author, and multi-instrument player). At the prompting of @Ali Anani, he's coined "Scientific Poetry" or "Fractal Poetry" or "Mathematical Poetry"...to let us use both sides of our brain. We have to be diligent to persevere and hone our skills, traveling through the brush over and over will only serve to make the road softer. We will eventually be smooth, so that is no bother. Comments20/09/2016 #32 Margaret Aranda, MD, PhDI love that beBee is promoting its Promoters on Twitter, especially. Twitter audiences have a wider market in the medical field, as there are not many MD, PhD, or MD, PhD Producers (yet). An article on death and dying, for example may not 'fit' well with beBee but be gulped down by mainstream Stanfords and MedLinks, invisible illnesses and long-term diseases. So I'd like to first encourage new beBee Producers to also check the analytics on their other social media profiles to gain confidence. For example, neither my "Watermelon" nor "Staring at an Aquarium" articles did particularly well here but have skyrocketed on Twitter and FB. (The Aquarium article landed me with an Australian following, so go ahead and write about fish!) Second question: what does it take to get Followed by all of beBee's Twitter profiles? Is there a goal to attain first? I'd suggest an Engagement status on Twitter. And thirdly, I'm lovin' the concept of Promoting others' Productions....I'm guilty of not doing that so well. Thank you as now I see that I need to take the initiative on that. Coming back to read this post twice has helped me tremendously. Worth a 2nd read. ((Hugs)) @Michele Williams, @Victoria Lewin, @RAVINDER VIJ, @WILLIAM C. BALLARD II, @Manish Nair | Research Postgrad, @Gordon Pye, @Samantha Appleyard, @Lana Kirby, @John Byler, @Nicole Chardenet, @Aurorasa Sima, @Charlene Burke, @Renée 🐝 Cormier.12/07/2016 #20 John ValledorAs a new bee in this hive of hives, where can I go to get a tutorial on how to do things on the beBee app? For example, how do I make honey from the app? I've clicked on every image in the app's GUI, but can't seem to figure out this one particular action. It is holding me back having to go to my laptop.
FYI, one of the most annoying aspects of LinkedIn was the feeling of being alone in trying to navigate the channel's functions. Hated having to find morsels of info via articles. Further, the LinkedIn GUI wasn't intuitive either.
I like my experience thus far, but I want to soar with my fellow bees. Right now, as new-bee, I can only hop and skip.

The 15 Pinterest Boards are meant to reflect my Wisdom Pyramid which I utilize mostly on LinkedIn. So I will reserve some time next week to get my boards updated. I visited your boards and WOW! it was the clearest portrait of affinity I could possibly imagine, it was a great reminder what other forms affinity take. For sure hives might represent that here, but the way Pinterest displays itself, it is easy to get a all-in-one picture of a persons interests. BTW I loved the Board called "Spoonies" and this simply speaks to the huge range of your interests.
