- 21/05/2016Engagement~ I didn't want to post this in Publisher, because it is just a short observation. The engagement I receive on beBee from something I post is over the top. On LinkedIn, it is next to Nada.

Imagine 7 Billion engaging people, the world becomes a busy place - but imagine engagement being thinking not broadcast - 7 Billion thinkers. This is the path least traveled, I take it akin to Jiddu Krishnamurti and his Truth is Pathless Land speech http://www.jkrishnamurti.org/about-krishnamurti/dissolution-speech.php Engagement is a fair-weather friend unless we put a monetary value to it, then that is pure marketing. If your primary value is broadcast then engagement matters, but for me zero response is not necessarily zero engagement, like Krishnamurti I am not in the "changing you" business, and I only need a few people who truly are magnificent and then my life becomes Sawabona - for then truly I SEE YOU. It is very important for marketers to have engagement, but for the thinker it begins and ends with loving what it is we do and personally for me I want a life of flow - for the world is filled to the brim with people trying to engage. To be in flow it to be fully alive and present - because YOU are magnificent, that is why I SEE YOU. Your happiness is not at all requisite on my engagement, it is when you are in flow also.
