    #1 Yes, and when I was in medical school, 1985, we had a mandatory Nutrition Class. It was the only one in the nation. We also had, in our First Semester, a mandatory class on "Mind, Body, and Spirit." Made to walk the walk, we also had to "clock in" all our physical exercise per month, meeting minimum requirements. AAannnnD, (WoW I forgot about all of this) we had to run a 2.5 miles in 30 min or less. Otherwise, DING! Had to keep doing it every week until accomplished. Now, it is good to see a patient-oriented emphasis! "It's About TIme!

    Interestingly, a significant number of U.S. medical schools are now adding courses on holistic and alternative medicine, subjects that were considered taboo in medical circles not long ago. Let's hope that this trend will continue.
