    What IS Healthy Living, Anyway?
What IS Healthy Living, Anyway?/ by Dr Margaret Aranda /  "Healthy Living" seems to be an adage, a worn-out phrase, one that is almost antique in its age. But never before has this concept been so pertinent. Image 1. "To Age" or "To Remain Un-Aged" in our Bodies. Look at how fast...

#1 Yes, and when I was in medical school, 1985, we had a mandatory Nutrition Class. It was the only one in the nation. We also had, in our First Semester, a mandatory class on "Mind, Body, and Spirit." Made to walk the walk, we also had to "clock in" all our physical exercise per month, meeting minimum requirements. AAannnnD, (WoW I forgot about all of this) we had to run a 2.5 miles in 30 min or less. Otherwise, DING! Had to keep doing it every week until accomplished. Now, it is good to see a patient-oriented emphasis! "It's About TIme!

The old belief that body and mind were completely separate and independent entities is crumbling fast. True healing is about establishing the intimate connection that exists between a healthy body and a healthy mind.

Interestingly, a significant number of U.S. medical schools are now adding courses on holistic and alternative medicine, subjects that were considered taboo in medical circles not long ago. Let's hope that this trend will continue.

#4 It is easy to be with an artist, if he is the one you cherish, admire, and behold, my dear. Perhaps I understand you more than you know ;-).

#2 Extremely well said, so you must know how it feels. I was denied true love, but have found it now. So I always disliked and avoided reading love songs, movies, and especially poetry...but now things have changed thanks to my beloved @Selim Yeniçeri. And I'm not afraid. I do follow this up with my own original piece, stirred on by @Hervé Sabattier at having translated his second poem I read. One can only hope that a writer can emulate those other writers that stimulate one to go inside one's mind and soul to bring out the beast and the dove. Thank you @Ali Anani, who first told me I should write poetry. I shall keep it up to the brim! Oh! And here's my poem, stimulated by this poem here, an English reflection of the original French one. My Subsequent Poem: The Gift at Bay: https://www.bebee.com/producer/@margaret-aranda/the-gift-at-bay / Thank you! Close

Aha...how well strong love with its propensity makes visible exposure. No barrier, no hurdle, neither world's troubles nor people's panic can stop bursting, flowing and voluminous true love.

I think the translation is beautiful, @Hervé Sabattier, but you are the author, and I bow out to you now. Powerful, intense piece in any language, even that of a computer program. What a compliment, and moreso, what an accomplishment, my friend Hervé.
