Comments14/06/2017 #6 AnonymousIf you click on the link you will see the words "scientists found the chemicals in samples of cow, goat and human breast milk." The research was about "how man-made chemicals are now found throughout the food chain". Note it also says "Researchers believe some of the drugs and growth promoters were given to the cattle, or got into milk through cattle feed or contamination on the farm”. What distinguishes a scientist from a non-scientist is application of scientific method. Belief does not come into it. Care needs to be taken in interpretation of what is being reported here. Care also needs to be taken with the recommendations being made here.14/06/2017 #5 Lisa 🐝 GallagherWhat a great topic @Juan Imaz! I gave up cows milk about a year ago. I decided to use Coconut Milk for the most. I love how my rice and a few other things taste when I use Coconut milk. I do buy soy too, it's great with smoothies and I've concluded that it's good to switch things up on occasion. A lot of people are cow milk intolerant and soy is a good substitute! Soy Milk is great in smoothies too. I swear to those who haven't tried it... you will not know the difference if you use soy milk in a smoothie instead of cows milk.

Comments16/06/2017 #3 Randall BurnsWhat's really nice @Louise Smith , and I do this with other recipes, especially cold ones, (like Caesar dressing, gaspacho, etc.), is to roast the garlic first. Roast the whole bulb, in the skin, (400 degree oven, drizzled with EVOO and salt), until soft, about 10 minutes. You have to double the amount of garlic but the flavor is deeper, more mellow, etc.
