Until now, AI hasn’t been capable of beating human expert pilots in air combat simulators, but this has changed with the research tool, ALPHA, which has beaten a prominent veteran pilot and other experts - even when its aircraft was deliberately handicapped. The veteran pilots describes ALPHA as “the most aggressive, responsive, dynamic and credible AI I've seen to date”... Impressing!
