(It continues) To me, the big change on humankind, since the industrial revolution on XIX century, has been the expectation of life. Those days, children mortality was around 20 to 30%, while today is smaller than 1 per 1000 A person on his 40’s was already an old person, while today the expectation of life is quite the double. This has led us to multiply by 6 the world population, with an astonishing growing curve in the last 60 years: From 1900 to 1950, 53%, from 1950 to 2000, over 140% I believe we need to unlearn as humankind that we are not here just to be born, to grow, to reproduce and short after that, to die, and to learn how to live the double of years after our reproductive age. Here is where i believe is the real challenge of 21st century.
