Bravo @Michael Hillebrandl! Great initiative and great interview! Welcome Johan Hedberg. Looking forward to your joining us on beBee. It has been such a pleasure reading Johan's interview, Michael. I can't remember the last time I came across such a positive attitude and authentic pleasure of the sport and work. At the same time he introduced himself first as a father, nice. You never asked him if his daughters ever showed an interest in hockey. Loved hearing about the time he played with the Manitoba Moose (my Canuck connection) before going to play for Pittsburgh and playing with his Moose mask. I actually watched that game and the games that came after with the crowd calling Moose every time he made a good play. I also appreciated Johan saying, "I did a lot of mental training, visualization and working with a sports psychologist to help me understand the mental part of myself." I am sure that this influenced his ability to stay positive and be able to see the good in all experiences. Wishing Johan Hedberg continued success in all his endeavours!

Another great interview @Michael Hillebrand. Welcome Johan! I was enjoying the interview until the last photo. Seeing you in the splits like that just made me wince....

... and I certainly don't know how you were able to keep your answers so short. Michael must be getting really good at not letting his guest talk too much. Which reminds me. I'm late for my meeting for people who are verbose. It's called On and on, anon.

From one goalie to another... A Great Big Swarm Welcome to you, Johan!

I was never in your league (In fact I sucked. Comes with being a lousy skater), but goalies share an affinity in that they are the only ones crazy enough to willingly put themselves in the path of frozen rubber disks hurtling at great velocity, while big guys with knives on their feet kick at us, and often, end up sitting on us. Good Times!

#2 Fabulous Michael! I've actually been waiting for someone to start reporting on the Olympic games. I'm not one to watch them but I like to know how they're going! Maybe that's something the Olympians could start doing? Or someone who is following the games!

Thanks @Pamela L. Williams. Get ready for several professional and Olympic athlete interviews coming.. There are a few NHL players I'm interviewing, with great stories to tell.. P.S. A couple of the Olympic athletes are floating around here already, lying low until their interviews are published. If you like sports, stay tuned! Exciting things planned for you and them in the months ahead. :)

Wow Michael, you are really growing in this role as an interviewer. I hope Johan joins beBee soon, it would be fascinating to learn more about professional hockey. Thanks for sharing Johan story with us.

#1 Michael @Michael Hillebrand BUZZZZZZ. Ok. A hint. It was taken in the province of Quebec. If that doesn't help, I'll keep dropping hints. And it's an original, since one of them is me. The other, however, is not me.

I grew up with the flying frenchmen, and I have to say that the people running les canadien are completely foo (fou). It's been a long time of mediocrity, and it's hard to distinguish them as an org. from the Maple Leafs, and you KNOW how insulting that is. @Randy Keho
