#48 I think I DO remember seeing that @Don 🐝 Kerr. I find that to be a vital hive! My stepfather was a caregiver for my mom. I will be forever grateful to him for all the hard work and love which always came first, that he gave mom.

@Don 🐝 Kerr I must have been away when this was done! I'm going through the introductions hive and found this gem. I love this quote by you, "When you find flow, your performance level is often at a peak. You achieve an optimum level of clarity. Things that you might ordinarily see as an issue, remain in the background or disappear." It just makes so much sense! Your boys are so young and adorable. Enjoy as I can tell you are! I love that you've been reading to them since the womb. My daughter did the same and is now reading her 4 wk old baby books every night, the tradition continues! A cancer hive? Do you still have that hive? I think many may find interest in it?! Afterall, it's one of the common evils in society so many face or have watched a love one face. Great interview by @Michael Hillebrand with you!

What I love about this interview is the obvious deep love you have for your family Don. This part was particularly poignant to me: "When my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer at a very young age I floundered trying to find information and support for male caregivers. I found very little so I decided to start blogging on the subject. My rationale at that time was two-fold - one cathartic; two hopeful that I could make a difference to even one man in a circumstance similar to mine."
Humans need to know that there are 'others' out there that can relate and understand. You went looking for this for yourself and not finding it turned that lack into providing for and sharing with others. Simply beautiful Don.

Commendable job, Michael. Your interviews makes me seem as if I was present while you were interviewing. Nice to meet you, Don. You sounded more genuine and authentic to me and last but not the least your facts and figures sounded more than accurate.

Great interview Michael! "you only get to engage with a select few and even fewer will be genuine participants in your life for the long term. I am finding more of those types of souls on beBee than I have ever found on other platforms and that, I think, is because people share the whole-person story." couldn't agree with this more @Don 🐝 Kerr! It was great getting to know more about you.

There are some quality interviews on the horizon for this hive. @Don 🐝 Kerr gave quality answers and I am really looking forward to the interviews to come, the interactions they encourage, and for everyone to get to know one-another a bit better. Keep up the great work everyone!

#14 @Ali Anani: I'm so sorry that I am just reading this now, but the great thing is that it takes me back, somehow. To the place and the time when we first began to thrive and ever since then, I thrive on this 'not' just being a Hive. I truly look forward to being here each day, and I've missed you but blessed you in these last few days. Wishing you all the best, always. ~ mags

#13 @Margaret Aranda, MD, PhD- isn't the word synergism? If yes, then you mentioned it already. If you would read my buzz of today on love then I believe I have responded to your great comment.

#12 Oh, I definitely think that joy + surprise do not = not 'x' + 'y.' The two are both synergistic and add to something more than additive effects. There's a word for that and I can't think of it right now, but I shall! @Ali Anani View more
#12 Oh, I definitely think that joy + surprise do not = not 'x' + 'y.' The two are both synergistic and add to something more than additive effects. There's a word for that and I can't think of it right now, but I shall! @Ali Anani, I don't know how you contribute so much to each one of us and make us feel like you're such a kindred spirit. Whatever it is that you have, it is much more than joy & surprise to the 11th degree! Close

#11 That is an idea for a new buzz @Margaret Aranda, MD, PhD. You say you were joyfully surprised. You are adding to emotions together: joy and surprise. What if joy came alnoe and the surprise emotion wasn't there? Do the two emotions blend, or react to produce new emotion at a higher level?

#9 I feel like I am having an emotional tornado with your kindness and appreciation dearest @Margaret Aranda, MD, PhD. I fail to match your visual words and appreciation. But what is far more important to me is the newly-born self you are now. If I contributed a minor role in this transformation then I am satisfied for a year to come. Blessed you are.

#6 You broke me down yesterday when you told me of this planned dedication, @Ali Anani! I could not stop the tears of finally being validated by you! All my pain, trials, imprisonment, loss, and despair simply transformed into a new butterfly! I let go of the invisible PTSD layers deep within that were hiding in deep, dark coal mines of danger. Before reading your sweet dedication, I'm blowing you a kiss on the cheek, and giving you a big, tight hug with my head on your shoulder.

#7 I am too passionately moved to say for now more than I am equally blessed to have met with you @Margaret Aranda, MD, PhD. No wonder I quoted a whole paragraph in my buzz dedication to you. You are a great human. Stay blessed.

#3 You simply overwhelm me. Once again, I see my path has led me to the most beautiful road I never would have found if I had never been in that car accident! I'm loving life serving...serving...inspiring...and motivating some of the most beat-down, invisible people in the world. And how could I help them if I didn't know they existed? And how could I be who I 'really am' without being in the rat-race? I'm so magnificently blessed to have met you, @Ali Anani! My spirit is simply rekindled with each one of your words.

#1 @Ali Anani, my gentleman, You are so gracious, as always! Fear not, and be rest assured that what didn't kill me, just made me stronger! And I turned and twisted it to make it work for good, to transform that ball of clay onto a spin wheel in my mind, where I could turn it into a lovely vase for all the flowers I had grown in my imaginary garden! And I did it! Here is the link to the actual #SOWHATISTHEPOSITIVE interview, as I don't see it inside the article, despite many attempts ~ I'll be really curious to your reaction to 'seeing' me now!...and @Rebel Brown too, please enjoy this gift: https://youtu.be/aKH6jBZwl8A?t=8m10s

Der @Margaret Aranda, MD, PhD- You commented on the image " Awe and Wonder. With what we are given in life, much will be expected. And there is a place when everything seems new.
So many different feelings overwhelm me reading about this tragedy. Great is your spirit and perspective to life. They are both abled above all expectations. Luckily, the things that keep us going and living are not consumed by bugs. Determination, hope, willpower and the like are our real lasting resources of energy and you have them all. Keep going
