Kevin, I had a similar experience, but I knew what I wanted to do for a living while pursuing my degree. My issue came when I realized that my dream job wasn't all it was cracked up to be. It was fun, but it didn't pay the bills. My collegiate-earned debt wasn't insurmountable, like so many of today's grads, so I could take just about any job and not be stressed financially while living with my parents. That eventually led to attaining a Class A CDL, which became a requirement for the job after I'd been with the company for a couple of years. I never imagined heading down that road. I was making local deliveries, so I never had to venture out on the open road. I didn't, and still don't, want to take that step. I eventually found another avenue that allows me to work within my chosen field, but I'm holding on to my top-flight license because you never know where life will take you, especially in today's economy. I also acquired a bartender's license. There will always be a need for truckers and mixologists, just don't mix the two.

Electronic Toll Collection System Market worth $8.65 Billion by 2020

Electronic toll collection is a cashless tolling system which is increasingly being adopted on highways and urban areas. This system helps to efficiently manage the traffic on highly congested areas and also facilitates the tolling collection process by using the latest technological solutions, such as the RFID, GPS/GNSS technology, DSRC, and video analytics. The governments of different countries are formulating the standards and regulations for the electronic toll collection system market. I believe your experiences have taught you well because you own them. Your article reflects you're in control - "I believe I can master it as I have mastered many skills in my life." I feel like I'm eavesdropping on your self reflections @Phillip Hubbell. I fully agree that one gets pigeonholed into a category... "Hey the projector doesn't work! Call Kevin!" even though you have many other facets. I see you as a writer who does other things rather than someone who does things and writes on the side. I'm an avid photographer and musician, but I would starve if that's all I do. You sound very self aware. Keep pressing on my friend. Work will come to the diligent.

"Secret" supply chains? Color me intrigued. After several factory fires causing hundreds if not thousands of deaths due to lack of fire exits and inhumane working conditions in buildings in Bangladesh that were dedicated to large multinational clothing retailers such as Walmart and H&M, the call to action adress the hazards have not been met. This is several years after the fact. The repairs and basic safety regulations such as marked emergency exits that most developed countries take for granted are yet to be established in Bangladesh. It is no "secret" that their commitment though legally binding, has been nothing more than words on paper and clever marketing ploy. After all, most consumers today demand a higher ethical standard, which is why sustainablity reports are recent additions to a corporates regular reports. While transperency may be the goal, it's definitely not the reality for these companies, especially luxury brands. We can answer the question in a heartbeat:"who are you wearing"? But not "who made it?"
