    Hot Bootie
Hot BootieIt was the first time she would be meeting his family and that was no easy feat! He was the youngest of seven siblings and he also had a large extended family. They decided to camp in a local state park for the first introductions. They arrived late...

#13 Go to a hotel, have smores served to your room and call that camping! No worries, my idea of camping now is with A/C -running water and a clean, comfortable beb. Oh wait, wifi and TV are a must too!

Cool, campfire stories! And a great one to kick off this Hive! Once we've got ten, perhaps I will go on my first ever camping trip with the tales in my pocket.

#11@Pamela L. Williams, I have a few from my stint with the Forest Circus(service), but, I'm not sure if they bear repeating. I think they're still classified, anyway. There is an unflattering pic of me with my face planted firmly on the ground by a campfire and I was wearing a Neil Young concert shirt that simply said on the back, "Sponsored By Nobody"- even if I found it, I don't think I have the inclination to share it. ;-)

#8 Hey @Chas Wyatt is a mountain man, he can probably come up with some great campfire stories. I have a bunch of them: the Possum/skunk fight, Our version of Left behind- a family initiation. The disappearing campsite. and those are the funny ones!

#4 It took a while before she liked us telling the story but she finally got used to us and realized it was all in good fun and we weren't making fun of her. That's also about the time she stopping 'minding' the nickname.

#1 It took her a while but she finally got used to our rather outrageous ways. To be honest, it took a while for her to think the campfire incident was funny. They were brand new boots. (which only made it funnier to us) LOL!

#3 Wouldn't dare do such a search! I'll never forget when my 13 year-old-daughter was doing a paper for school and did an internet search for a term brought up page after page of porn. She was so afraid I'd be mad that she was crying when she told me. I tried to keep a straight face, honest I did. I don't even remember what search she did but I definitely put up some blocks after that!

@Pamela L. Williams, LOL; it is funny when you find out the story behind nicknames, so to speak. I don't suggest doing a search for the term "Hot Bootie" on YouTube. ;-)
