Hot BootieIt was the first time she would be meeting his family and that was no easy feat! He was the youngest of seven siblings and he also had a large extended family. They decided to camp in a local state park for the first introductions.Β They arrived late...

#22 Because I just threw it on beBee one day when @Lisa 🐝 Gallagher wanted something for her hive. I still owe her a couple more.

#23 they are avid campers/hikers. they took their two children on a 8 mile (one way) hike (over 3 days) when they were both less than 8 yrs. old. They did buy an actual camper a few years back for long trips.
Hey, its best to be 'real' they first time they meet the family. No use wasting time with someone who can't take the reality! Thanks for stopping by Aaron! Seem Kelly could take it! :-)

Great story @Pamela 🐝 Williams! I'm curious, does your sister-in-law still go camping? I think I have burnt the soles of my shoes more than once, the smell always gives it away!

We joke about how my Bride first met my family. It was around the holidays, so here's the whole clan packed in my parents little country farm house and I walk in with her to introduce her to the family. . . In a nano-second my brother was pounding on the piano doing the into, shortly thereafter the rest of the clan, as if on cue, began singing, 'Cause your my, Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, Kelly. . . #13 Go to a hotel, have smores served to your room and call that camping! No worries, my idea of camping now is with A/C -running water and a clean, comfortable beb. Oh wait, wifi and TV are a must too!

Cool, campfire stories! And a great one to kick off this Hive! Once we've got ten, perhaps I will go on my first ever camping trip with the tales in my pocket.

#11@Pamela 🐝 Williams, I have a few from my stint with the Forest Circus(service), but, I'm not sure if they bear repeating. I think they're still classified, anyway. There is an unflattering pic of me with my face planted firmly on the ground by a campfire and I was wearing a Neil Young concert shirt that simply said on the back, "Sponsored By Nobody"- even if I found it, I don't think I have the inclination to share it. ;-)

#8 Hey @Chas ✌️ Wyatt is a mountain man, he can probably come up with some great campfire stories. I have a bunch of them: the Possum/skunk fight, Our version of Left behind- a family initiation. The disappearing campsite. and those are the funny ones!

#4 It took a while before she liked us telling the story but she finally got used to us and realized it was all in good fun and we weren't making fun of her. That's also about the time she stopping 'minding' the nickname.

#1 It took her a while but she finally got used to our rather outrageous ways. To be honest, it took a while for her to think the campfire incident was funny. They were brand new boots. (which only made it funnier to us) LOL!

#3 Wouldn't dare do such a search! I'll never forget when my 13 year-old-daughter was doing a paper for school and did an internet search for a term brought up page after page of porn. She was so afraid I'd be mad that she was crying when she told me. I tried to keep a straight face, honest I did. I don't even remember what search she did but I definitely put up some blocks after that!
