Comments13/05/2017 #38 Preston 🐝 Vander VenGreat Buzz. I remember once being told that if I go through " I know someone who knows someone..." seven times, I will reach everyone in the world. That is the really power of networking. I don't know everyone, yet by connect to enough bees and building relationships to someone who knows someone who knows someone who knows someone, I now do.
A great example is someone the great bees whom have shared my honey on this site on down this to other social sites like Twitter. I looked on their site, and they had over 55,000 followers. Then my post was re-tweeted a few times. If I was to reach that amount of people by email one by one, it would take a lifetime.
Networking is a Team effort and everyone wins.13/05/2017 #33 stephan metral 🐝 Innovative Brand AmbassadorBefore re-inventing, comes creating oneself. Take your time, breath deeply, write about it 20 minutes a day, the whole week long. Brainstorm with peers and ask them how they see you. takes notes, some expressions might be precious and uselful in your (numerous)baselines on your differents social media accounts.
Segment who you want to connect with and make them your targets - primary (40%)- secondary(20%) - others (combined %).
Launch your branding campaign 1)objective 1 - get to be exposed 2)get to be known for at least 3 useful reasons to be engaged with !
At for the road. Do not ever give up !13/05/2017 #32 stephan metral 🐝 Innovative Brand Ambassador#26 @Pamela 🐝 Williams of course u are right 100%. Anyone with good will & intents, can re-invent herself/himself. Only people with no talent at all or no imagination , with like almost zero skills cannot be -1) creative -2)inventive -3)positive , cannot reinvent themselves .
BeBee branding tool ? certainly yes ! LinkedIn branding tool yes ! facebook branding tool, etc...yes+ yes +yes.
Branding belongs to Marketing. And marketing are sciences & tools. believe in yourself matters, more than opinions. Opinion is not branding. Opinion deals with a)positive ones =popularity b)negative ones = claims & continuous detractors.13/05/2017 #31 stephan metral 🐝 Innovative Brand AmbassadorWhile old school is still using sollicitation in a marketing exhausting PUSH strategy. BEBEE , the game changer, put that same world upside down in just less than 60 days. Thanks for that @Juan Imaz, @John White, MBA @Matt 🐝 Sweetwood + muchissimas thank youzzzz to the great whole transatlantic Team !13/05/2017 #30 stephan metral 🐝 Innovative Brand AmbassadorGreat post and a lot of essentials statements @Javier 🐝 beBee. LinkedIn is necessary to feed the results and give something to snack for recruiters. They are doing their job. Screening you. If you are not prepared of have put together a solid branding, portfolio, showcases, all the sections in fact (for that LI is really well built) you just do not interact with the very same purpose why you are on LI. Getting hired ! It will remain, i humbly think the largest recruitment database in the world. LinkedIn pulse is a sub-product and will be very useful if you have something to say, or write. Now LinkedIn demonstrated that it is not a free , nor an open platform, it is meant for business & recruiting. You want to get visibility in from HR people, pay for it ! Brand building has a cost. And everyone should consider that...budgeting. So Brand Building, isnt free of efforts, knowledge, skills, and..costs.
beBee would be a better version tool to give the opportunity to see how we behave online, what do we post, what do we lead as constructive & proactive initiatives. I was 23d LinkedIn influencer in my country, now that i use beBee, i have daily offers and it doesn't mind where i stand in terms of ranking or views or followers. What matters is that beBee changed the game: ENGAGEMENT with serious motivated hiring managers, project holders, investors, peers & new team mates. affiliates, business developpers...and this all over the world.13/05/2017 #29 Robert CormackWe should all be a little careful about "reinventing ourselves." I see posts that are obviously influenced by something they read here. Being influenced, being inspired is fantastic. Just remember that writing like them, or taking on the same topics isn't reinventing yourself. Always be you. Everyone else is taken.13/05/2017 #28 Phil Friedman#26 Pamela, FWIW, I personally do not think your comment is off-topic at all. I just don't believe in reinventing oneself, when it comes to "branding". Indeed, I don't believe in inventing yourself in the first place. Or your "brand". I personally believe a brand develops and grows, and that you can nurture it and cultivate it, but you cannot create it. At least, not if the term "authenticity" means anything when it comes to branding. Cheers!13/05/2017 #26 Pamela 🐝 WilliamsMaybe this is off-topic but another great asset of social media and networking is broadening your horizons, taking paths you might not have considered had it not been for the inspiration of your network. In other words; looking at yourself in a entirely new way. I know because that is what beBee has done for me. If you're not thrilled with your brand then watch, listen, observe, bee inspired and reinvent yourself13/05/2017 #24 Wayne YoshidaExcellent advice. And - here's one thing to add: Explain the "Why" as Simon Sinek explains in his TedEx Talk and book. . . . then watch the follow-up called "Building Trust"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4VdO7LuoBzM12/05/2017 #20 Deb 🐝 Helfrich#16 I wholeheartedly agree, @Jerry Fletcher. Trust is what powers business at the human level. It is a shame that most large organizations build structures that foster distrust.
One of the key components of how beBee allows people to earn trust is via all the opportunities for conversations.
The curious thing is, I note that while my direct interactions with someone play a role, I tend to grant & revoke trust based on how I observe the person's interactions with other people. It is easy enough (and we are taught to play this game in our culture) to be respectful to a person in a position of power/influence, but the true measure of a person is revealed when you see them in a handful of more personal situations.
- 23/01/2017Doesn’t matter what business you’re in.
Let’s take Network Marketing for example, because I know a lot of you are in, or have tried an MLM business before.
This business isn’t really about products or compensation plans.
They’re important, however you have ZERO control over them.
And that’s a good thing, because people don’t care nearly as much about those things, as they do about 3 THINGS which drive ALL of their decisions.
Good news, because these are 3 things you have 100% control over.Become The Person You Want To Attractwww.empowernetwork.com Become The Person You Want To...
