    Link to upcoming show:
    http://www.blogtalkradio.com/realtalkwithmichaella/2017/03/22/is-the-sky-really-falling-interview-wrobert-williscroft-phd

Is the sky really falling? Well it depends on who you ask and nowadays it seems like everyone has a different story to tell.

Robert Williscroft, Ph.D joins us today to talk about such matters. He has done many things so far in his lifetime including working for the U.S. Navy, the NOAA (National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration), been a Nuclear Sumariner & Scientist, a Diver, a columnist- plus many more roles. Last but not least he is the Author of several books such as: "Slingshot", "The Starchild Compact", "Operation Ivy Bells", "The Relativity Birthday Present", and "The Chicken Little Agenda; Debunking 'Experts' Lies".

Robert will be sharing some insight from his book "The Chicken Little Agenda" on such matters like: Going Green, The Greenhouse Effect, Climate Change/Global Warming, Nuclear Energy, and more.

By the end of this program hopefully listeners will gain better insight into what is fact versus fiction on our planet, possible solutions to some of the issues we face- and maybe, just maybe a better night's rest from all the doomsday talk.

If you want to purchase the book we're talking about today, you can find it on Amazon at:

Can Russia and America mend their ways? This is a question that is probably being asked around the world and deserves an answer. In today's world with so much conflict, having one less problem to deal with would be a blessing.

Joining me tonight is Stephen Blank to share his knowledge on this issue along with possible solutions. Stephen is an internationally recognized expert on Russian foreign and defense policies and international relations across the former Soviet Union. He is also a leading expert on European and Asian security, including energy issues. Since 2013, he has been a Senior Fellow at the American Foreign Policy Council in Washington, http://www.afpc.org

From 1989-2013 he was a Professor of Russian National Security Studies at the Strategic Studies Institute of the U.S. Army War College in Pennsylvania. Dr. Blank has been Professor of National Security Affairs and also the Douglas MacArthur Professor of Research.

He has consulted for the CIA, major think tanks and foundations, chaired major international conferences in the USA and abroad, and has been a commentator on foreign affairs in the media as well. He has also advised major corporations on investing in Russia and published over 1100 articles on these issues.

Generals and military scholars will tell you that eight or 10 years is actually not such a long time in the span of human history -- which is no doubt true -- but history also tells us that 10 years of martial law and a war-time economy are going to feel like a Lifetime to people who are in their twenties today. The poor bastards of what will forever be known as Generation Z are doomed to be the first generation of Americans who will grow up with a lower standard of living than their parents enjoyed.
That is extremely heavy news, and it will take a while for it to sink in. The 22 babies born in New York City while the World Trade Center burned will never know what they missed. The last half of the 20th century will seem like a wild party for rich kids, compared to what's coming now. The party's over, folks. The time has come for loyal Americans to Sacrifice. ... Sacrifice. ... Sacrifice. That is the new buzz-word in Washington. But what it means is not entirely clear.
Winston Churchill said "The first casualty of War is always Truth." Churchill also said "In wartime, the Truth is so precious that it should always be surrounded by a bodyguard of Lies."
That wisdom will not be much comfort to babies born last week. The first news they get in this world will be News subjected to Military Censorship. That is a given in wartime, along with massive campaigns of deliberately-planted "Dis-information." That is routine behavior in Wartime -- for all countries and all combatants -- and it makes life difficult for people who value real news. Count on it. That is what Churchill meant when he talked about Truth being the first casualty of War.

Most of the CNN coverage of Desert Storm was bald face lies. Many embedded journalist 'in' the battle never left Saudi Arabia. When you pull back the wrapper on it, there are so many lies - that the only Real Truth is that it IS ALL A LIE. EVERY F'N BIT OF IT. If it is on TV, somebody paid to put it there. It is all produced, scripted, and broadcast to monetize the fear, hate and bullshit they sell. Same as it ever was, at least since the time of Plato's Cave Allegory.

TV’s 90th Anniversary Marked By John Logie Baird Google Doodle

Google’s logo has been replaced with a doodle displaying the 90th anniversary of the first mechanical television demonstration. This doodle has led to the maximum search for “who invented the mechanical television” following the quick answer: John Logie Baird.

On January 26th, 1926 a Scottish inventor John Logie Baird demonstrated the first television system for the Royal Institution of Great Britain and a reporter from The Times of London in Soho district of London. Initially, he called his invention as “televisor,” and claimed that he was able to transmit images of a person working a ventriloquist doll.

#11 @Flavio 🇯🇵 Souza 🐝 thank you for adding what you did. One thing that stood out, "Survivors guilt." I traveled by train from Erie Pennsylvania to Denver Colorado (I had a fear of flying, so I took the train for 31 hours), anyhow, I would ask others I met why they were traveling long distance instead of flying? One man told me he was in line to board the DC 10 which took off out of Chicago Ohare in 1979 and crashed, killing all aboard. He gave up his space to another man because the flight was over booked. That crash, the man and all aboard affected his psyche for years and he was still unable to fly in 2012. Thank you for adding the security measures all should take. I'm sure that panic does keep many from thinking clearly.

@Oliver McGee#9 Thank you for writing in english about such a traumatic event that happened this week. From the whole episode, there are countless lessons to be taken, going from the 3 players that got injured and could not do the flight and now they are alive (how many times we blame ourselves and others (god) for small unfortunate events (in the case of the players = an injury) but those sometimes avoid a much bigger ones. Anyway, it is great to see all the global support for the team and the families so far, the typical "faith in the human race restored". As I read a lot about this fatality in Portuguese/Spanish , one thing that stuck in my mind was the flight attendant's report (one of the 6 survivors) that said in the final seconds of the crash, many got in panic mode (which is a normal thing to do due to the circumstance) and even stand up and unbelt. The flight attendant said he just survived , first : Because of "luck" and Second: Because he followed the emergency procedure all the way (fetus position and had a suitcase between his leg for absorbing the possible impact), I think that is an important info/lesson to share with anyone who flies.

Here's the exclusive take inside my post shown now in bold - "this aircraft was not suitable for a (1,867 miles or 1,623 nautical miles) 3,005 kilometers flight (performing as LMI-2933, en route from Santa Cruz (Bolivia) to Medellín (Colombia). Maximum Range of the LAMIA Bolivia Avro RJ85 airliner is 1,808 miles (or 1,570 nautical miles or 2,909 kilometers) using standard fuel). Everything converges to a total engine failure due to lack of fuel!"

@Ben Pinto it is so important for all of us to remember the tragic events that occurred on the dates you have mentioned. So many people's lives were forever changed and it is necessary to send out reminders that we need to continue to keep our guard up and try to prevent more of these horrific events from taking innocent lives. I agree that there is a definite pattern and it makes sense to increase security and public awareness as a means of stopping these crimes before they happen, before lives are lost and before hopes and dreams are shattered.
