    Wonderful story @Pascal Derrien. It's both sweet and savory. This reminded in a way, of the post I recently wrote about making lefse with my grandmother. But more-so it reminded me of the vivid vibrancy of childhood memories. While many "friends" may come and go, some of them leave footprints on our heart.

    My first exposure to Moroccan was at Chez Berber, Boulevard Montparnasse. It was our first dinner as a group of exchange students and even on my very limited student budget, I made sure to go back often. But the cous cous was so tremendous, I don't ever recall having room for dessert. Now I am certain that that was likely a good thing.
