#8 The best thing about numbers is the infinite way we can add, subtract, and find relevance. I do think the milestone should be double numbers, there's nothing so special about a zero at the end. I am certain that a fondness for WHY's causes a burst of reverse aging, as well.

#4 Ah... the age of 33, when much of life was poetry. I'm now approaching 59, just being coherent is mighty fine.

Ah, thirty-three, an exciting age to be
    But what of forty-four
Offspring are nestled in their own homes
    Leaving us free to roam
    More time, less expense
The world is now our oyster

okay, who wants to take 55?

@Franci Eugenia Hoffman- I add my voice to the two thoughtful ladies @Lisa Gallagher and @Sara Jacobovici because they said what I was about to say. Enjoyed your buzz immensely. The quality of the two comments speaks a lot about the quality of your buzz. Thank you

As I am brooding about my up and coming BIG 60, because of you @Franci Eugenia Hoffman I am able to see that 33 is half of 66, that pushes me 6 more years before I have to brood and by then, who knows, I may not need to brood after all! Thanks again Franci for looking for me and for my finding you.

And out the window, I did fly
Took note of yesterdays gone by
You see, the future was full of promise for me.
I no longer look 33 in the eye.

SeasonsAs days begin to cool here in Australia. It just got down to a chilly 11C, that’s 52F for my American friends. I know that’s not cold for many of you, but I live in the south eastern part of Queensland, Australia, where I enjoy Florida type weather....

    Escaping dreams and twisting thoughts,
    Are wed on common ground.
In shadow clouds the memories bought,
Are lost ne’er to be found.

    Created pain and haunting screams,
    Break free from dungeons dark.
To torture hearts and shatter dreams,
    Till slayed by morning’s spark.
