Live Learn Lead. Make a difference everyday in your life and in the lives of those people you come into contact with.
@Alanea Kowalski This is a brilliant buzz with a strong message. When we Wake up each morning we need to ask ourselves this question. What difference can I make today, what am I learning new and live in the moment. Great buzz. Keep buzzing Alanea.

What Happened to Your Sense of Humour?
What Happened to Your Sense of Humour? You know you had it, but when did you or anyone else last see it? Maybe you lost it during your morning commute; or that endless meeting; or perhaps you lost it when your team didn’t reach the quarterly goals. Perhaps it decided to look...

I think with some cultural sensitivity we can always make it work....but if not then at least we are aware of the possibility when it's relevant. #2

Thanks Kevin. Yes if you're not having any fun what's the point. People need to remember that fun and hard work are not mutually exclusive. #5

Welcome to beBee @Alanea Kowalski. Laughing is good for us. Plus, laugh lines are more attractive than frown lines.

I have to admit I read your post because you spelled 'humour' correctly. To find out you are a Canadian makes it better.

I agree... life's too short to be dour... you never get out alive, so you might as well enjoy the journey.

    Welcome to beBee Alanea.

I'm fortunate in that I have a rather large sense of humor and I make it my goal to make several people laugh each and every day, I've been quite successful so far. What amazes me is not how many people have a sense of humor, but the opposite, how many need to find their sense of humor. My family suggested that I do stand up comedy, I told them that as interesting as that would be, it's much harder than they could ever imagine, although it might be fun to give it a whirl one day. I have a difficult time thriving in any environment where people can't take the time to laugh at themselves and with others, it's one of my core values. The only thing that's better than the sound of people laughing is the gurgling sound of a baby. Imagine if we made it our goal to make at least one person laugh everyday, what a better place we would all be in together.
