    The History of Anesthesia

Great post @John Karwowski. It is this description of yours which I find fascinating, "Anesthesia, in essence, is a state of unawareness or even unconsciousness." From what I understand, there is still much that is not known regarding how anesthesia administered today actually works. I follow the work of anesthesiologist, Dr, Stuart Hameroff ( http://www.quantumconsciousness.org/)

Still nothing more potent than damage and pain in oneself to create or renew sensitivity for the world at large. Thanks @Pascal Derrien for the narrative and the awareness, lest we take things for granted!

After reading this, Pascal, the thing that comes to mind is
"What doesn't kill you makes you stronger!"
Geez you must be really strong after that lot. Good on ya! Also, I love the wry, dry humour.

Parents should not let their children get plastic surgery unless it is necessary for health reasons. Plastic surgery is necessary if the growing body needs repair or reconstruction for a wide variety of reasons such as defects at child birth, scars, medical conditions, craniofacial problems, vascular anomalies conditions, and treatment of disorders that involve your child's face, neck and skin.

However children should NOT have plastic surgery for fashion trends, absolutely not.
