#1 #2 Thank you for your comments, I'm glad there was something here of value haha. Social media is, or can be, a great tool for marketing purposes and as you say, @Jean L. Serio, CPC, CMC, building that trust factor is very important.

An excellent post, @Steven Davies. And I would be writing all evening if I were to point out each and every valuable statement you've made about social media marketing. Your comment "Another benefit of using social media is that it allows you to reach a much wider audience, with much less 'effort'" definitely resonates, for me, as one of the major reasons for using it. Plus, as I've said in other comments on beBee - it can help you build visibility, authenticity and the very important Know, Like and Trust factors. Thanks for this valuable share.

Well, I have not long come back from the polling station, having put my big black X in the appropriate box.

I was disheartened to see PENCILS being offered to make the mark. I'm trying to keep the cynic in me, in check but it isn't easy.

Anyhow, I had a black pen with me - but how many didn't?... Not that I am suggesting possible corruption, of course.

Whatever the outcome, just know that I love Europe and everybody in it - but this is about something much more important than us as individuals.

We haven’t posted anything here for a while, mostly because of the campaigning ahead of tomorrow’s (23rd June, 2016) referendum. The campaign is over, at least from ClickMagnet UK Towers, because if we haven’t convinced you to vote Leave by now then it is unlikely that we will be able to in the next few hours.

If the nation decides to stay in the EU it will be a bitter disappointment for everyone, not least for our children and everyone that comes after them. Anyway, I’m not writing today to tell you which way to vote tomorrow because that is a decision that you have to make for yourself. I’m here to say what comes next for us on Friday, regardless of which way the vote goes.

#2 Hi Pamela, thank you for reading. I've worked for several companies, as a writer or producer (different companies have different names for the same job). I do try my best, mostly (I think) because of how I am here, My writing business started when I was homeless, I had nothing but my phone and free wifi thanks to the city. I know have a flat and I'm fully (self) employed.

Okay, I read: Loved this line: data-graphics, next to static images of cats, are the most shared media on the planet – take advantage of that fact! What I like most though was the 'narrow it down' approach. Some think the more data the better but there does come a point when irrelevant is irrelevant so stop wasting time storing it.

Steven, I think you should do what is good for you. If you want to be social, then be. If you like informing/educating, then do it. That's the magic of beBee; finding you're niche, not trying to fit into someone else's. So with that said: Hi Steven, thank you for sharing an informative piece! (haven't actually read it yet, but you get the idea :-)) will read now!

Midnight tonight is the last chance for people to register to vote. I'm glad that the extension has been given, although I'm sure the Leave campaign are not so pleased.

This vote will, one way or another, have an enormous impact on the whole of Europe affecting hundreds of millions of people in a millions of tiny ways.

To my fellow Brits, all I can say is go with what YOU think is best and not what the various spin doctors want you to think.

I agree @Steven Davies it is not about explaining everything you can to the customer and sometimes the client doesn't even care about what you have to say about all the process or even characteristics of a product. It is about how you'll leave a mark and the client feeling something about your brand, product or even yourself as a trustworthy professional selling the product or service they -need-. Great share!
