Fat Irish bloke, me and the voices talk, argue, debate and then giggle at each other. Then we write, sometimes it even makes sense. Author of two books, The Little Book of Hearing Aids and Audiology Marketing in a Digital World: A Modern Digital Audiology Marketing How To.

We provide web design, social media management and content marketing services for Audiology Practices world wide. We built our own content management system (because we are stupid like that) hence, the name of the system and the name of the company is Audiology Engine.

I love Audiology as a profession and I am fascinated with healthcare in general. I get ideas, me and the voices in my head argue about them then we collaborate on writing them out. For some reason, people have found them interesting. The blog was born and the rest, as they say, is history. The blog covers different facets of the business of healthcare, marketing, online marketing, Patient management, commercial strategy and customer care. I don't really take myself that seriously, (if I do, the voices laugh at me) and my sense of humour sometimes spontaneously explodes on the page. I am liable to call people gobshites at times, but usually, that is okay because I call myself it regularly. I like to challenge the status quo and ask WHY!

I offer copywriting services, usually specifically for Audiology, however, we have expanded into the Health & Safety world in the UK. .
We build websites predominantly for Audiology although as I said, we have expanded into the Health and Safety Services sector as well. We build pretty sites that are very visual, we absolutely love custom video and we encourage all of our clients to get video testimonials. Our sites with video testimonials in the home page banner by far drive the biggest engagement and leads.
Commercial Strategy in Healthcare
I think that everything that we do as a healthcare business should be considered within our overall commercial strategy. That means that every facet of the deployment of our Practice should be reviewed under that concept. I don't mean that it should be assessed to rationalise, I think it should be assessed to see how that facet can evolve and change to establish our authority, our brand and our overall commercial strategy.
I believe every facet of a business from the chairs in the waiting room to how you speak to customers is in fact, elements of your overall commercial strategy. Those details will make or break you as a business.
I write articles for healthcare Practices that are designed to help them rank for specific search terms.
I offer website optimisation that involves both on-page optimisation of the site and background technical optimisation such as schema mark-up, meta title and meta description optimisation and localisation.
