Audit Manager/Senior Manager - Financial Services Organisation, Cork

Your key responsibilities

Skills and attributes for success
:
You will provide guidance and expertise to professional staff and participate in the conduct of a wide range of assurance services, with a particular focus on complex and specialised issues, including audits, controls reviews, remediation projects, and assistance with regulatory compliance
Part of your role will be to develop team members by encouraging individuals to think for themselves and take responsibility for their contributions to the team.
You understand your clients industry, their key performance drivers and business trends, and emerging technical and industry developments that impact them.
In this role you will plan engagement objectives to ensure compliance with professional standards and appropriately address risk. You will also prepare and review management communications, proposal budgets, and negotiate fees and overruns
You review and approve for signing, all financial statements, opinions and reports and other deliverable documents for clients.
You will identify new business opportunities. Understand our service lines and actively assess ways to apply knowledge and services.
To qualify for the role you:
Are a qualified Accountant -e.g. ACA, ACCA, CPA qualified
Have a proven track record in maintaining strong client relationships.
Have 5 years assurance experience gained in Big 4 practice
Are dedicated to teamwork and leadership
Have experience with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) or US GAAP.
