Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for the right person to join our team as a
Sales Support Engineer.
To develop and manage the national commercial strategy in line with the overall Schneider strategy, for the National Key Account at Corporate and or Buying Group level ensuring that the Company meets or betters the requirements of the Sales budget and maintains costs in accordance with the forecast. The role includes editing/updating electrical drawings using AutoCAD, cable sizing/pulling, preparing O&M manuals, the design review of equipment and preparing single line diagrams. You should have an excellent knowledge of LV systems and Network, Power Systems, Power electronics and  software skills to include MS Office and AutoCAD
Key Responsibilities:
1). Maintain and increase the profitable sales of Schneider Electric’s offer within the Key Account
2). Successfully Implement and enforce the Schneider Electric Ltd Distributor Policy at Corporate, Buying Group and Regional Director level
3). Working with the Entities, develop and drive actions to maximise the leverage opportunities of the Schneider offer where appropriate
4). Own and co-ordinate key customer issues, taking appropriate action to solve problems and minimise customer disruptions
5). Develop effective working relationships at Corporate, Buying Group and Regional Director level becoming recognised as the customer contact for Schneider Electric Ltd
6). Manage the cost expenditure forecast
7). Working with Marketing Services and the Channel Marketing Managers, play an active role in ensuring that Schneider Electric Ltd has the appropriate Distributor coverage
8). Successfully implement and leverage Corporate incentives to realise our growth ambitions
9). Work with the Channel Marketing Managers and the UK Commercial Managers to ensure we proactively manage any potential shortfalls in performance
10). Co-ordinate the activities of the Channel Marketing Managers within the Entities to ensure a consistent, best for Schneider approach to our Channel
11). Understand and communicate the appropriate management information including market, competitor, economic and business conditions, technological development, trends, people, etc
12). Be a champion of organisational change consistently contributing to improving the processes to which you contribute
13). Develop and deploy a Strategic Account Plan that will deliver year on year increased % share in the Key Account turnover. The specific % will depend on the Key Account Managed
14). Take ownership for the development of your competencies in line with the Schneider Electric Ltd Competency Framework.

Extensive Sales/Marketing experience
Account Management experience
Ability to enhance the co-operation of others through influence
Proven Channel experience
Electrical Engineer -Technician –Bachelors of Engineering - Electrical Engineering (Honours) or equivalent.
