Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with one or more of the following: SQL, Python, Java, JavaScript or HTML.
Ability to speak and write in German and English fluently and idiomatically.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with project management and process optimization with data analytics.
Knowledge of Internet, web-research, online advertising, fraud detection, numerical analysis and e-commerce.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Excellent computing and data-processing skills.

Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. As a Search Analyst, you'll work with cutting-edge technologies, to improve the quality of Google's Search results. As a member of this team, you will develop and manage cross-functional relationships with Engineering, Product, Legal, Sales, and Operations teams in a multifaceted effort to improve the search experience. You will lead efforts to improve our processes for identifying and resolving quality issues. You'll be responsible for analyzing market trends, exploring new technologies, and ensuring a high-quality experience for our users.

Investigate, analyze and resolve quality issues and market trends.
Troubleshoot issues and product vulnerabilities to implement large-scale quality improvements in collaboration with Engineering teams.
Lead projects and cross-functional initiatives within Google.
Be an expert in search quality and educate teams and users on search and related projects and products.
