Working from Alstom Transports Red Cow or Sandyford depot you will maintain vehicles on Dublin’s LUAS tram network to standards of Quality, Cost and Delivery in line with customer expectations.  You will be required to carry out both planned and corrective maintenance work on a rotating shift basis. This opportunity will initially be offered on a fixed term basis.
Key responsibilities of the role : -
Maintain
;
vehicles on Dublin’s LUAS Tram network in accordance with specified procedures
Carry out vehicle preparation work  as and when required using on board computerised equipment
Undertake train fault diagnostic work using laptop computers
Report accidents and incidents through the appropriate channels
Continuously improve processes and procedures
Attend regular team briefings and communicate any relevant matters
Coach and develop other Technicians as required
To record on Service Orders all activities and times taken to completed preventative, corrective and downtime tasks
Participate in the reduction of deviations from standard reported, each month
Be part of the emergency call out team
Key skills and requirements for the role include:-
Qualified in a technical discipline – electrical/mechanical
Experience of electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanics
Experience of working in a rolling stock maintenance environment or similar
Experience of working within a process/production environment
Working knowledge of quality and health and safety standards and systems preferable
IT literate with knowledge of Microsoft software packages
