Analyst - Financial Planning and Analysis

Essential Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
1. Commercial support for USCAN Services covering Revenue runout, National Accounts, Big deals and Warranty Conversion activities; closely working with Zone FMs to drive actions
2. Support financial planning, estimation & closing cycles
3. Provide Estimation and Analytics support for USCAN Services HQ OVC
4. Create analytics around OVC trends by operational team, develop account-level expertise and identify key drivers for variances (VPY, VOP, VPE, etc)
5. Provide and present analytics around, cost efficiency & productivity
6. Identify and drive simplification and standardization opportunities around systems and process improvements across
7. Support businesses from a financial perspective ensuring financial stewardship and Controllership
8. Maintain consistent and effective closing procedures and provide timely and accurate reporting across teams spanning multiple countries and legal entities
9. Comply with local and US GAAP reporting requirements as well as internal GE policies and procedures

Role Summary/Purpose

FP&A CoE provides FP&A support to various GE businesses across the globe. Finance Analyst will support one of these businesses in the areas of Financial Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting and Cost / Revenue Analysis.

• Chartered Accountant/Cost Accountant/MBA Finance
• 6 - 10 years of progressive finance experience
• Excellent analytical skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change
• Strong PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications such as Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, Spotfire etc. Strong Excel and Access skills in data compilations and aggregation (pivot tables, vlookup, etc)
• Self-motivated, high energy individual
• Proven communication and stakeholder management skills
• Working hours in shifts (between 2- 11:00 pm)

• Proven financial leadership in supporting multiple & complex organizations
• Experience working with remote managers and teams
