Job Title Application Developer
Location : Pune
IAR : The role is not applicable to the UK ‘Senior Managers Regime’ or ‘Certified Regime’
This role requires a mix of innovation and evolution of the connectivity framework, as well as an ability to work closely with eFICC businesses on delivery of new and existing products with Core Java & Multithreading being the key technological aspect.
What will you be doing?
o Provide eFICC businesses with programmatic access to global markets.
o Continuous focus on Capacity, Performance and Resiliency.
o Ongoing hands on technical design and implementation of current and next-generation exchange connectivity.
o Promote common design and implementation practices and reuse of technology.
o Contribute to the creation of an efficient software development life cycle.
o Foster continuous process improvement through the use of best practices and agile methodology.
What we’re looking for:
o BS degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science Core Java knowledge
o UNIX skills
o Middleware experience
o Experience in building server side components with industry standards
Skills that will help you in the role:
o Practical experience using source control systems including branching and merging e.g. GIT and SVN
o Experience of memory and performance profiling
o Ability to solve problems involved in writing multi-threaded code
o Google protocol buffers experience
o Financial industry experience
