Law degree (LLB) from a leading university or law school.
Should have handled a large volume of complex litigation matters.

Amazon's Legal Department is looking for a talented lawyer to fill the position of Corporate Counsel to support litigation in Amazon’s wide range of businesses in India.
This Corporate Counsel will report into the Sr. Corporate Counsel (Litigation) and will support the litigation practice for Amazon in India.
Will be responsible for cross functional co-ordination for retrieval of data and details on consumer complaints and ensuring that all pleadings / replies are filed/ made well within the prescribed turn around time.
Ensure networking with law firms and advocates across the country for day to day trouble shooting on matters in litigation and efficient management.
Closely co-ordinate on criminal complaints filed by the company with location advocates and ensure progression of the cases at police station and magistrate courts culminating in filing of FIR. Provide analytical support on cybercrimes.
Co-ordinate with police units across the country on reply to notices received u/s 91 of the Criminal Procedure Code and ensure co-operation with police investigation.
Ensure timely generation, updating and circulation of MIS to all stake holders.

Compensation will be based on experience and includes equity compensation.
