Overall purpose of role
Banking & Credit (B&C) offering is through a full engagement model ie staff in B&C support Bankers/ PBEs for every transaction end to end. B&C has to play an active equivalent Banker / PBE role in these entities.
Originate, structure, underwrite and execute structured credit deals
The candidate will be responsible for overall transaction management from sourcing to structuring to documentation and asset management. Will be expected to liaise with internal stakeholders including Credit, Risk, Legal and Compliance to build consensus on deals.
 
 
Key Accountabilities
 
The candidate will be a key member of the Credit Solutions team and will be required to engage with senior stakeholders within the bank as well as with potential counterparties.
The job role will involve end to end transaction management for Special Situations financing through a full engagement model.
Sourcing and term sheet preparations/negotiations
Credit analysis and evaluation of deals
Liaise with the regional  ⁄ global office for credit approval processes
Prepare credit proposals – new, amendments and annual review
Financial entry in rating model
Procedural navigation with Risk and Operations
Interest rate communication to clients/ bankers
Vendor co-ordination for various checks
Completing regulatory checklist on behalf of front office perspectives
Writing draft CAMPARI for referred clients to UK for mortgages
Send conformation mails w.r.t. daily transactions
Help in preparing management MIS
 
 
Stakeholder Management and Leadership
 
The stakeholders for the role are Legal, Risk, Credit, Investments, Compliance, Operations, Finance to name a few, and the incumbent would be expected to work in cross-functional teams and also clients to get the expected results.  The candidate will be interacting with clients, global and regional product heads and team members, and those in risk, legal and other infrastructure functions and will be responsible for seeking relevant approvals for transactions and building consensus amongst the cross-functional teams.

As a Structured credit transactor the job requires wide market connects, deep analytical abilities, commercial acumen, business development skills, inter-personal skills to name a few.  The incumbent should be a willing learner, as no two situations in this area are the same, and one needs to draw upon all knowledge, experience and ability to tap into the firms resources in various areas, to create an optimal solution.
