Job Purpose and Overview

We are looking for a full-time Data Warehouse Engineer. In this high visibility and critical role, you will help design and enhance our data warehouse platform. You will work closely with our executive team to gather and implement requirements to grow our platform to drive better strategic decisions, help us build better software products for our customers, and improve our bottom line.

Essential Job Functions

Utilize data science expertise to develop comprehensive knowledge of incoming data and how it is used within the data warehouse in order to influence your design work and educate our stakeholders on how to effectively mine our data

Become a domain expert in the data and processes of the platform and guide other team members who support the platform

Capture and document business requirements and prepare technical design documents that describe what is needed to implement the business requirements

Develop and test new or complex scripts, SQL queries, and reports

Design and develop test plans and operational supports to validate data integrity and processing

Analyze potential data quality issues to figure out root cause and enact effective solutions.Perform logical and physical data modeling.

Write and review knowledge base articles that document procedures and standards

Evaluate tools that could augment or replace data warehouse components

Minimum Requirements

B.E/B.Tech in EE, EECS, CS, MIS or comparable discipline

5+ years of experience crafting and developing BI/Data Warehouse solutions, including methods to ensure data protection and privacy

3+ years of experience providing L3 support

Proficiency in at least one programming language

Strong written and verbal skills in English

Strong personal organization skills and ability to work on 5+ projects concurrently
