Job Responsibilities:

General Skills

Proven written and oral communication skills and the ability to articulate information and influence others

Meticulous at checking detail

Ability to work under pressure and to defined deadlines

Ability to organize workloads and to priorities effectively

Ensure the effective implementation of LOTO, contractor safety, work permit, Forklift safety and other world class best practices.

Develop & Implement site specific safety policies, procedures and programs in alignment with corporate and BU programs

Develop and devise implementation plans for health, safety & environmental training.

Identify and develop control plans for hazards which exist at the site.

Interact with regulatory agencies as required to maintain compliance with all applicable standards


Interface with Corporate Legal, Environmental, Safety, Medical, Risk Management & Security groups

Establish site wellness initiatives and programs

Prepare & Implementation of safety Manual

Facilitate all accident and incident investigation.

Actively participate in the activities carried out regarding the safety in the concerned area.

To organize safety committee meetings

To check the legal compliance with respect to health and safety.

To impart Safety training and EHSS induction training programs.

To investigate the cases of industrial diseases contacted and dangerous occurrence.

To organize campaigns, competitions, contest and other activities to develop and maintain the interest of the
