Department Overview:
Resiliency Solutions is responsible for independent execution of risk mitigating and centralized operational processing in support of certain key regulations with enterprise-wide impact. Activities include Currency Transaction Report filing, Customer Data Management (CDM), SAFE Act Registrations, Loan Originator qualification, etc.

About Role:
Reviews, verifies and/or identifies customer transactions to detect/prevent financial crimes activities, policy violations and/or suspicious situations in order to mitigate and/or recover losses. Monitors and reviews more complex account activity and claims requiring research that may involve multiple transaction channels and products. Uses a variety of sources for information, including multiple online systems and more complex tools/models. Document research findings and actions on cases for possible referrals for Suspicious Activity, Identity Theft Operations (ITO) and suspected Financial Abuse. May contact a variety of sources to gather information; may contact customers and/or vendors to verify transactions; may analyze account information for close account determination. May identify control failures in bank processes, procedures, and customer or team member decisions and then categorize losses and assign loss accountability. Reviews more complex/unique situations with senior department staff. May participate in projects.

Responsibilities:
• Should have basic knowledge of various USA Patriot Act Section 326 "CIP"
• Ability to review incoming records to ensure records meet the requirements for the USA Patriot Act Section 326
• Responsible for working high volume of Low complexity/priority cases
• Contact appropriate resources as needed to ensure accurate and thorough review of UW records including research and documentation
• Conduct research in Hogan and search external Websites for TIN verification when necessary
• Complete no less than 2 hours per year of self-directed subject matter related training
• Partner with appropriate resources to seek out solutions to problems
• Research and resolve problems within department SLAs
• Perform duties and assignments within established timeframes, ensuring proper follow-up and completion
• Must be flexible to work odd shifts
• Ability to work overtime during peak volumes
• Working Low and Medium complexities and risk levels: Low, Medium priority cases
• Complete no less than 2 hours per year of self-directed subject matter related training
• Conducting research in Hogan and search external websites for TIN verification when necessary
• Identifying and when necessary drafting and submitting Unusual Activity Referrals (UARs) for potential money laundering, fraud or any other potential financial crimes related matters
• Regularly conferring with CIP Regulatory Group Management and make recommendations to improve overall efficiency and performance
• Communicating important developments to leadership that may jeopardize overall business objectives in a timely manner
• Monitoring and keeping Management advised of new and emerging trends and
• Analyzing submitted documentation to determine if it meets established guidelines
• Communication that requires well developed written and verbal communication skills
• Working in a fast paced production environment to meet deadlines
• Completing very detailed work with a high degree of accuracy
• Adjusting to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change
• Adaptability and flexibility to meet departmental and work objectives
Desired Qualification:
•1+ year(s) experience in one or a combination of the following: financial services, fraud, investigations, Bank Secrecy Act, anti-money laundering, or criminal justice; or an AA/AS degree or higher in applied sciences, mathematics, statistics, economics, finance or criminal justice
• Experience reviewing banking transactions
• Wells Fargo Line of Business Experience, prior CIP Experience and/or similar Risk Operations experience
• Ability to analyze and summarize large amounts of data
• Display a willingness to learn new policies, procedures and processes
• Advanced knowledge of various financial crimes regulations including USA PATRIOT Act section 326
• Experience with research system tools such as Hogan, DIPR, UW, PAC, Etran, Lexis Nexis, etc.
• Experience in a fast paced production environment
Essential Qualification:
•Strong written & oral communications skills, proficient in MS Office suite
• Regulatory compliance/banking experience
• Proficiency with basic PC applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Effective listening skills
• Banking/Financial Services BPO/KPO - Regulatory/USA Patriot Act
