As Head of Industry, you'll be a thought leader providing strategic marketing solutions to pure play and to telecom service providers. You'll lead and develop a team of thought leaders, working collaboratively with agencies, third parties, and clients to create winning solutions for our clients and partners. You'll determine and deliver the team's strategy, manage a team and other Google resources to increase sales and achieve goals. You'll also work with sales leadership to set strategic objectives and run the day-to-day operations for the business.
You'll help our clients get their marketable assets online in an affordable and measurable way. You'll combine your knowledge of the telecom industry, capacity for strategic thinking and guidance, deep industry and marketing agency relationships, compelling communication, presentation skills, and prospecting and analytical abilities to develop new business, and grow existing business.
In this role, you’ll be part of a team responsible for building and maintaining a positive sales culture across the organization.

Build and maintain relationships with executive-level clients, industry-specific direct advertisers and relevant agency contacts.
Develop a deep understanding of advertisers' business needs and provide insights into relevant consumer behavior.
Understand the roles of and manage a team consisting of Industry Managers, Account Managers and Analytical Leads, providing team and individual development, guidance, feedback and motivation.
Develop the vision and manage the sales/account strategies to fully unlock the potential in the Indian Telco sector.
Educate the Telecom industry on the role of online media and Google at targeted events, conferences and media opportunities.
