Job Title : Lead UI Developer
Location : Pune
o Accountable for end-to-end system technical designs to understand impact on applications / products within domain
o Control changes to end-to-end system designs to determine impact on applications / products within domain
o Understand the various phases of the software development lifecycle
o Review and understand component designs to build knowledge and understand how these fit within an end-to-end system design
o Collaborate and communicate with other developers to build technical solution
o Manage all software engineering quality standards / benchmarks
o Manage projects to budget, time and quality requirements. Document all work in accordance with agreed standards, and with re-use in mind
What will you be doing?
o Manage a team of resources being responsible for the delivery of technical changes whilst adhering to deadlines and budgetary constraints
o To be instrumental in formulating and supporting Digital Office Internet strategies for constantly improving delivery model within the team Continually evaluating current processes and implementing new innovations within the team where applicable presenting these back to senior managers and key stakeholders in the business to gain ‘buy in’ and driving new innovations through to implementation tracking and monitoring their success
o Identify own development needs and seek opportunities to address these needs through guidance, coaching and formal training
o Set goals and objectives; manage the PD plans; performance assessment and reward; performance calibration; own pay-round input for the Internet team
o Provide coaching and development on tools and process; act as mentor in field of expertise (either within the team and/or across the wider Digital Office Team)
What we’re looking for:
· End-to-end software development lifecycle
· Software development methodologies, e.g. waterfall, agile
· Awareness of leading-edge tools, techniques and services within IT
· Software development consisting of some of the following languages and technologies:
· Jquery, Lodash
· Angular framework, Responsive grid framework, Twitter bootstrap.
· Knowledge of Ecma Script 6 (2015) standards
· SASS, Less
· Grunt, Gulp, webpack
· Node js, npm packaging
· Jasmine, Protector
· Java, JSP, Struts 2
· Application servers (JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, NGINX)
· Version Control Software (SVN / CVS / Git/ Gerrit)
· Jira, Confluence, Jenkins
