The associate will be a part of the Demand & Supply Planning function of Novartis Healthcare in CPO India, to provide consistent and superior service to our customers, through:
1)Effective demand planning and inventory management throughout the supply chain
2)Effective management of supply chain third parties and other internal supply chain parties.
3)Manage the CPO Sales & Business Planning (S&BP) across different franchises/disease areas in CPO , focusing as needed on specific product ranges, customer category; actively participate/ drive projects related to S&BP and supply chain in India
•Actively participate/ drive process design and improvements jointly with the Regional S&BP team and the global S&BP team
•Drive the design, set up and roll out of S&BP tools
•Drive the roll out of the S&BP process and training of key stakeholders
•Lead the CPO S&BP Analysts in executing the S&BP process in the CPO India :
a.Ensure organizational alignment between Country, Region, and Global functions.
b.Demonstrate alignment to Global demand and supply planning process.
c.Fully understand and convey Region unique needs, develop informational decks/reporting to clearly assess plans, including supporting data, analysis, and new developments in supply upsides and constraints. Assist regions in identifying, training and supporting country representatives, demonstrating an effective and sustainable S&BP process.
d.Lead unit and dollar demand forecast (including revenue and samples) review with Regional Counterparts . Work alongside regional counterparts to align current replenishment demand forecast (ROFO) submission against market activities and sales trends. Identify gaps between current plans and financial commitments, derive possible gap closing initiatives and highlight the risks and opportunities. Drive accuracy from the DA and submit on time to Global counterparts a complete S&BP Signoff that accurately reflects the demand, for short and long-term horizons.
e.Apply demand control where necessary on large or abnormal orders while still striving to meet operational and customer excellence.
f.Collaborate with the CPO Marketing/Franchise team on the product portfolio by overseeing regional product launches/ rationalization/ Life Cycle events, including communications to regulatory group and other key stakeholders.
•Actively participate/ drive S&BP and/ or Supply Chain projects
•Establish End-to-End supply network for CPO distribution system.
a.Establish & Execute SAP Driven replenishment plan for CFC location across CPO.
b.Ensure CFC location wise Forecast Accuracy by continuous evaluation / trend analysis / challenges with respective DA’s
c.Ensure CFC location wise OTIF (On Time in Full ) for accepted forecast
d.Managing and ensuring sufficient SS at respective location for all active SKUs
e.Work with Key stakeholders on reduction of Inventory Write-off
•Masters Degree or MBA Operations preferred from NITIE other Institutions.
•6–10 years of extensive experience in a viable supply chain organisation with good exposure to S&BP/S&OP to manage a large product portfolio.
•Interaction with cross-functional teams and working with all levels of the management team.
•Knowledge and experience in SAP Environment / forecasting software & BI tools (Tableau etc.)
