About the Role
We are looking for an India SA Regional Manager to lead fleet partner acquisition and act as one of the key supply growth strategies across cities. This role will need designing and executing processes, projects, communications, and experiments driven by a deep and analytical understanding of our business.
Fleet partners are entrepreneurs who manage their own fleet of vehicles and drivers. They partner with Uber and play a major role in supporting our supply growth in a majority of India markets.
This is a people-management role and will work closely with both local and regional teams. This role will own the strategy and execution of how Uber attracts, acquires and develops small and medium sized fleet partners at scale through technology, automation and process optimization.
What You'll Do:
Build and lead, from the ground up, Uber's acquisition strategy for fleet partnerships across India SA
Defining the addressable fleet market for India SA
Cultivate a highly successful and engaged sales team through hands-on coaching and development of sellers across cities in India
Closely manage lead flow, pipeline progression, and accurately forecast the supply acquisition from fleets
Own critical fleet partner relationships across India
Recruit, coach and inspire a team of account managers who will build lasting and mutually beneficial relationships with fleet partners
Setup key account management for fleet partners
Prepare and give business reviews to Uber senior management regarding progress against KPIs
Skillfully manage multiple projects while embracing the fast pace of our company
Continually improving sales productivity in a highly transactional environment
What You'll Need:
5-7 years of sales, BD and account management experience
Experience in the Indian market, including experience working for technology/ telecommunications/ FMCG/ transportation related industries
Experience of working (directly or indirectly) with fleet partners, OEMs is highly preferable
Previous consulting or startup experience is good to have
A track record of steadily growing responsibility in sales or customer growth
You are a builder who wants to be empowered to make big bets
Ability to work efficiently and influence others without exerting direct authority, as well as a capacity to coach, develop and inspire a team
Strong internal & external stakeholder management
Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively across internal and external organizations
Ability to take initiative in a constantly-changing work environment
Exceptional written and verbal communication, and organizational skills
Willingness to travel across India when required
Highly creative; passion to change and revolutionize the fleet space in India
