What You'll Do
You will part of Cisco’s IoT Engineering team in Bangalore, India, leading a team of engineers working to deliver and maintain high quality, efficient and scalable components and features for Cisco’s IoT edge services products, solving application deployment and data processing problems at the edge of the network. You will
 Hold regular one-on-ones with your team, provide ongoing coaching and mentorship, be responsible for performance evaluations and compensation planning.
Maintain a focus on team execution and development. This includes helping the team meet their project schedules and identifying risks and improvements in an environment with iterative planning and delivery cycles.
Collaborate closely with engineering peers, product managers and partners from across the business to help your team deliver on schedule
Regularly report to your leadership audience on metrics that measure product quality and team performance and advocate for improvements.
Communicate clearly and effectively with local and remote teams to ensure transparency as you drive forward

We are looking for a leader for our IoT Edge Services development team in Bangalore, India.

Skills
      3+ years’ experience in directly leading teams through product development process.
      A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in CS/related field with 7+ years of meaningful work experience in software development.
      Effective people management, leadership, and conflict management skills
      Skilled at building high performance teams and inspiring and developing people
      Outstanding ability to work cross-functionally and building partnerships with Product Management, UX and customers
      The ability to influence, facilitate discussion and work in partnership with remote teams.
      A strategic and product oriented mind-set with a deep desire to understand users
      Direct experience with Agile Software Development values, principles and processes.
      Technical experience in Object Oriented Design and Development.
      Have Knowledge of, or the technical ability to become knowledgeable about IoT Technology, Application and Networking domains and how customers use them.
