JOB DISCRIPTION:


Lead Support Engineer Support Engineer is responsible for delivering quality service for our users in accordance with production service catalog on his perimeter


With good skills in SQL PL SQL UNIX Data warehouse and basic understanding of GBIS products and business processes


Candidates should be willing to working in Shifts 06 30 22 30 IST and on weekends as and when required It will be 5 day work however depending on production need Job type L2 L3


Support Production Support with Development skills Key Responsibilities


Good working experience on writing code to automate manual processes Able to analyze code in SQL PLSQL and Shell script and propose make changes to the code based on the requirements


Able to understand business requirement document and translate to technical specification Understand and adapt to Agile way of working Able to switch work between Dev and Production Support based on the need Follow up of production and team activity KPI on a daily and weekly basis daily standup white board weekly perf Review preparation escalation of team problems


Problems are raised and tracked on Visual Management White board Kanban e Board etc including dates and owners Ensure Knowledge base and training material are up to date Okidoki Dokeo SOP Sit in


Good Knowledge on UNIX based environments along with scheduling tools like Autosys Ctrl M etc Solid exposure on writing SQL queries


Should have good understanding on ETL process Preferred to have good understanding on scripting language like Python Shell Perl ITIL Foundation V3 Certification preferable


Follow up of the quality service of GSD Global Service Desk team and propose manage the transfer of new L1 activities Adaptability towards DEVOPS
