The Private Bank supports HNW, UHNW and Family Office banking, investment and credit needs through a dedicated Private Banker and team of investment and wealth specialists.  With offices in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Monaco, Switzerland, India and Dubai, the Private Bank offers our international client base access to a fully bespoke service. The business is high growth and significantly invested in delivering high touch personal services and creative client solutions with access to the Corporate and Investment Bank. More complex products are available through the Private Bank; including structured credit and derivative margin trading, direct access to trading desks for equity and FX forwards.

Our Overseas Services business provides banking, credit, cash management and investment expertise to our clients through a value adding relationship-led service, product specialists and digital channels. Operating from London, Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man, Glasgow and Dubai we directly serve eight client segments of Fiduciaries, Family Offices, Captives, Funds Administrators, Corporates, Premier Global, Local Business and Local Premier & Retail, together with supporting the booking of HNW and UHNW clients onto our Jersey and Isle of Man platforms.

Overall purpose of role:
We are looking to hire an experienced Private Banker to acquire, develop and service a portfolio of clients across the high net worth space.
Key Accountabilities
·         New Business Origination
o    Identify, develop and secure new relationships through personal and client referrals, Barclays Group internal networks and corporate and investment banking sources.
o    Achieve personal and team targets for new clients, assets and revenues.
·         Client Relationship Management
o    Maintain highest levels of service and delivery to existing clients at all times.
o    Key contact for all investment advice and client queries.
o    Key interface between clients and other parts of PBOS and the wider Barclays Group.
·         Governance and Control
o    Ensure conformity with global and market standards of client service, regulatory compliance, T&C, KYC, product delivery and operating model.
·         Investment Advice and Financial Solutions
o    Provide innovative and world class financial solutions to meet client needs including:
o    Investment Management: Offers a range of services depending on client demands, including modelled, bespoke, discretionary and advisory portfolios. Investment Management works closely with the Private Bankers to provide a holistic service to clients
o    Balance Sheet: Offers Banking, Credit and FX products to support a wide range of clients borrowing needs including finance for property and luxury purchases
o    Wealth Advisory: Provides fiduciary solutions, wealth planning and structuring services plus trust and estate planning
o    Alternative Investments: Offers clients exposure to hedge funds, private equity, commodities and real estate
o    Barclays Partnerships: Enables clients to access products and services traditionally available only to institutional clients, e.g. Structured Products, DCM, M&A, RSG
Stakeholder Management and Leadership
·         Agree and meet revenue targets & NNA as agreed with the CEO
·         Set the strategy for the region/ target market and implement in line with Barclays best practice
·         Make a demonstrable contribution to developing new and emerging talent within the onshore India business.
Decision-making and Problem Solving
The role holder will require very active multi-tasking skills to analyse in detail and react
