The USI GFS Finance Senior Analyst will work with the USI GFS Finance Assistant Manager and the USI GFS Finance team to deliver agreed administrative and transactional services to the SWISS Firm and will assume responsibility for the quality and service delivery produced by the USI GFS Finance team. The right candidate will be responsible to dynamic and flexible person with good numerical and commercial skills. In addition we expect the candidate to have a high level of responsibility and ability to use own initiative.


Furthermore, to have completed commercial apprenticeship or any equivalent education. Having first working experience in accounting, good MS Office (in particular Excel) and SAP skills would be additional assets. Also should be speaking fluent German and English, knowledge in French would be an advantageWork you’ll do : As an Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for: Standard Reporting tasks (such as monitoring/chasing missing timesheets or client revenue analysis)Support on Monthly-, Quarterly- and Annual closing activities Support on the annual budgeting- and planning processBalance sheet control support and cost variance analysisSimple Ad-hoc reportsStakeholder Management: Proactively communicates in a transparent manner with the USI Assistant Manager and SWISS Stakeholders regularly regarding business as usual activities, system issues, training schedules etc. Work with the USI Assistant Manager to understand and align local strategy.


Be responsible for building relationships with stakeholders in USI and SWISS.Team Management: Actively co-ordinate with the team on a day to day basis including training, timekeeping and supporting in meeting the service level agreements and targetsAct as a point of escalation for the team to resolve complex queriesResponsible for maintenance activities in the teamProduce routine reports, schedules, and summaries as per client requirementsSupport period end financial closing activitiesEnsure that all the work deliverables are dealt with in line with the agreed terms and SLA’s as agreed with the SWISS stakeholdersResponsible for the quality of the deliverables. Work very closely with the USI GFS management team and SWISS stakeholders to deliver high quality deliverableLiaison with other GFS teams as appropriate and requiredEnsure compliance with appropriate Data Protection legislation at all timesCommunication: Demonstrate and create a culture of open, proactive, transparent communication between the USI GFS teams/management and the SWISS stakeholders. Take an active role and support the USI Assistant Manager in resolving escalations received in relation to processes owned by the USI GFS Finance team by reviewing action taken and offering up recommendations for improvement to the USI GFS Finance Service Delivery Manager for discussion with the SWISS Delivery Manager.Proactively identify & raise potential issues to the GFS Finance Delivery Manager for discussion with the SWISS Delivery Manager and lead team to take the necessary agreed cascaded actions.
