What you’ll be doing...
Work with requirements and development team to understand the product features and create test plans for features.
Execute test cases as per test plan. File bug reports and track bugs to closure.
Automation of test cases.
Work with the Test Manager to analyze error patterns and refine test plans/cases.
Write/Review test plans and test cases for content and coverage.
Work with development to proactively prevent software defects and to resolve software defects.
Work with cross site development and QA teams.
Work with product management and development to prioritize defect resolution.
Participate in code reviews.
Isolate, recreate, and report bugs, and verify fixes.
Demonstrate analytical and questioning skills to develop an understanding of actual process performance.
What we’re looking for...
You'll need to have:
Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Even better if you have:
BS degree or above in Computer Science, Communication Engineering or related area.
8+ years of solid hands-on engineering experience.
Good knowledge in telecom testing methodologies, creation of test plans, and test automation framework and tools, TestNG, Java/Python, Robot.
Experience testing web user interfaces, mobile user interfaces, and RESTful APIs.
Strong UI/API automation framework experience such as Selenium, Appium, RestAssured.
Experience in performing functional testing, system testing, performance testing, IOT, and fault testing.
Strong data collection and analysis skills.
Solid understanding of SQL/relational database concepts; and proficient is writing complex database queries.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
Experience in performing functional and automated testing of Web Technologies, iOS and Android.
Experience in popular data networking test tools and simulators.
Broad OS and networking knowledge, an aptitude for troubleshooting and problem solving.
