As a Platform Validation engineer the engineer would own System level power management validation plan and coverage. KEy responsibilities will involve
validation, planning, coverage definition, test content creation & automation, triage/debug of specific validation function (power management)
Attends subsystem VST, Ingredient/ Platform Sysdebug on need basis and track Validation and Debug Indicators and issues.
Works with peer orgs for feature enablement, system level dependencies, coverage analysis/review & sighting management. Lead and drive technical discussions with Intel's technical community, 3rd parties and partners such as Microsoft.
Responsible for content development, reviews, automation, coverage optimization, execution before deployment, analyze test content effectiveness and competitive feature/ UX analysis
Continuously drives improvement in validation methods, tools, UX, cycle time and content optimization
BE/MTech with 12+ years of work experience in SW/Silicon Valdiation. Experienced/Knowledgeable in computer system architecture, Windows Software Engineering/Debug, Window as Power Management flows and scripting skills.
- Bachelors or Masters in Computer Engineering (or Electrical Engineering with relevant SW courses) with [5-8] years of Industry experience. Should have a working knowledge of one or more of the below.
- Candidate should possess understanding and knowledge of SoC/Platform Architecture, IPs, interfaces and power management flows- Candidate should have Hands on experience in System/Platform Level Validation/debug on the said interfaces
- Candidate should have Scripting/Coding experience (Assembly, Python, C++, C#).
- Candidate should have a credible track record in test architecture, planning, test case development and execution,
- Candidate should possess practical problem solving and documentation skills with excellent communication and/or interaction skills.
- Candidate should be Result/Customer Oriented with a Product Quality perspective.
He should have a relevant prior experience in stakeholder/partner management and should be able to lead/drive/influence to accomplish expected results. Previous experience with OS's, CPU/SoC architecture, Emulation and pre-silicon Validation environments will provide an added advantage.
