What You'll Do ?
The mobile Internet transformation is here, with mobile data traffic growing very rapidly and ever more complex for operators to monetize.
The Mobile Core Business Unit was created to focus on this transformation and to enable mobile operators to make the most out of the challenges and opportunities it presents.
MCBU is a trusted partner as operators migrate to next generation virtual networks and continues to be a market leader in mobility, delivering virtual and cloud solutions that address service provider challenges of network reach, network intelligence, and service creation velocity while enhancing overall profitability. MCBU is responsible for complete development of 4G/5G nodes ( Both NSA and SA ).
Solution Engineer position within this Business Unit is responsible for all aspects of testing and reporting on the overall quality of the technologies that we provide. Since we integrate into so many of Cisco's core technologies, collaboration across boundaries is necessary to make the most efficient use of our resources and people. Automation is essential as we move to a DevOps environment and continue to deliver high quality products at a fast pace. 
Who You'll Work With ?
You will work with a team of very premier engineers and also socialise with other groups as product management, sales, customer support and advanced services.
These groups will engage with you to seek mentorship on features, design, and help with answering technical questions.
You will also collaborate with them to design tests in tune with customer expectations.
Who You Are ?
You form the bedrock of engineering talent. You have a hawkish eye when writing, reviewing and executing tests. You make sure nothing falls through the cracks while delivering exceptional product quality.
You are the right person for your technical leaders when it comes to the nitty gritty of testing. In short, you design, write and execute tests that make for nothing less than a masterpiece.
You should meet these requirements.
Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science or other technical degree
5+ years of experience
Experience with test analysis, test planning and test case design
Significant experience with and detailed knowledge of system and solution level testing
Experience with test equipment & tools: Traffic Generators (dsTest etc.), Wireshark, ethereal etc. 
Deep working knowledge of 3GPP /3GPP2 standards, Wireless Packet Core Standards testing, IETF Standards, LTE Protocol testing, DIAMETER, RADIUS is highly desirable
Hands-on experience on Unix/Linux environments
Strong knowledge of Agile processes
Meeting these requirements give you an advantage
Exposure to shell scripting, python, svn/git, any automation framework
Experience building CI/CD and DevOps pipelines
Exposure to 5G and kubernetes
Proven ability to collaborate with geographically distributed teams
