Service Delivery Manager / Deputy General Manager
Qualification:
Bachelor’s / Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Management Professional degree such as CA,ICWA, CFA would be an added advantage
Responsibility:
Business / Customer:
• Interact with customers (internal / external) and keep stakeholders appraised of the process performance• • Update clients regularly on various deliverables assigned (Daily\Monthly\Quarterly & Adhoc’ s) and clarify their queries.
• '• Certify controls laid down by the business to ensure successful audit by client and external party.
• • Create status reports for customers (internal/external).
• • Manage and resolve escalations and issues raised by customers and process specialists.
• • Identify & drive opportunities to enhance customer experience.
• • Review Customer satisfaction (CSAT) feedback and identify opportunities to enhance the same.
• • Manage clients and is the first level contact point for client escalations.
• • Participate in client calls to provide process feedback, training and issue resolution as necessary.
• • Adopt best practices and share Value additions from other processes/ verticals etc.
Product Control:
• • Review and target to reduce manual adjustments.
• • Adherence to escalation protocols laid down by client and manage stakeholder escalations.
• • Review of Daily and Monthly PnL.
• • Review of Daily, Weekly and Monthly Balance Sheet movements and commentaries.
• • Effectively supervise the work of team members and highlight any gaps identified.
• • Attend and timely response to Audit queries.
• • Support change project initives and conduct UAT for enhancement to current systems or migration to new systems.
Valuations Control:
• • Independently verify the valuation of the Bank’s derivative, collateral positions and other trading portfolios.
• • Review and risk assess Level 3 financial instruments.
• • Identify areas with low testing coverage and identify testing alternatives to close this gap.
• • Ensure that adequate provisions are booked.
• • Report on the accuracy of reserves and valuations.
• • Calculate Valuation uncertainty calculations (eg Prudential Valuations and internationa financial reporting standards (IFRS13)).
• • Participate in daily IPV calls and collect evidences for superviosry reviews.
• • Perform IPV, reserves and model calibration analysis for linear and nonlinear client business.
• • Continuously challenging and looking for ways to improve the IPV processes (seeking efficiency and alternative testing methodologies/sources).
• • Perform monthly Reserve calculations, including portfolio and specific bid/offer and model reserves Analyze and challenge the results and prepare detailed commentary on balances and monthovermonth movements.
• • Participate in daily IPV calls and maintain superviosry controls.
• • To interpret new requirements, liaise with both internal and external stake holders to design client's tactical and strategic plan to fulfil requirements.
Finance & Accounting:
• • Review / approve reconciliations performed by team members.
• • Review/ approve journal entries.
• • Ensure all monthend close activities such as accrual posting, book closing, manual adjustements etc are performed as per agreed process.
• • Escalate pending invoices with business / vendors.
• • Manage the development of, testing and rolling out of new strategic application / tools.
• • Document all EUA's (End user applications) with respect to Technical and User manual.
Reporting:
• • Review and ensure that all reports at all levels are accurate as agreed with the client and meets client requirements.
• • Review the various financial reports and suggest improvements.
• • Document all EUA's (End user applications) with respect to Technical and User manual.
• • Interpret and access the ongoing regulatory changes and suggest the implications on Reporting requirements.
• • Manage the development of, testing and rolling out of new strategic reporting tools.
• • Review & rephase the commentaries.
Asset Management - Fund accounting:
• • Perform 1st level review Monthly/Quarterly Reports, Financial Packages/
